Warm welcome and comfortable room! Loved the use of gym/pool. Breakfast also very nice. Only element that fell below my expectation was dinner that I felt was a bit lacking in the touches- like having a salad or vegetables to go with steak. That said the service was excellent.

Booked a table in advance, had to wait 15 minutes to be seated.. finally.. ordered our drinks 15 minutes later still no drinks or food order taken. Then be told drinks will be a while longer. requested to leave told I couldn't and that I need to go back to my seat. erm no I don't, took a while to remove the drinks we didn't receive from our bill. in the end had to order a take out which you don't expect in a hotel like this. in a plus side curry was delivered quick and was yummy. eat elsewhere is my advice.Also housekeeping needs addressing had to leave the room for an hour and even though I wasn't dressed they still wandered in and out. not acceptable.

Generally a good spa night. The first receptionist lady was a bit grumpy, but the second receptionist guy more than made up it and pulled out all the stops to make our stay welcome. Food wise, breakfast was good. Dinner was fine apart from the fact we had to wait nearly an hour for starters and returned the first steak because it was over cooked. But once it was all ready it was great and nice pudding. The bar is really nice and a good view of a local lake. Their is a slight view of a motorway or A road in the distance but to be honest I hardly noticed it. The spa facilities are small but tidy and clean, they could do with a few more sun beds around the pool but overall I was happy. I enjoyed my stay and for that reason four stars is more than reasonable in my opinion.

Gorgeous hotel - 2 adults 2 kids and we all absolutely loved it - staff are great - beautiful rooms and plenty of space for 4 people (we even had a game of hide and seek!) Plenty of choice for breakfast - play area and football pitch was a fantastic surprise and kids were thrilled! Clean and had everything you would need!

Nice clean room, nice communal areas, lovely breakfast but food at dinner time nothing outstanding... though restaurant ambiance lovely. Pool area was noisy and not enough loungers for everyone. Treatments weren't amazing i.e back massage was too gentle and facial didn't include the eyes??
