Approach to the hotel is not great, situated on an industrial estate. However when we got inside we had the warmest welcome from karim. He was so nice ! We were given a lovely room which was spotless. We had a spa treatment in our package and zofshan gave me the most amazing facial. So now the bad points...the jacuzzi area needs attention, it turns off very frequently, and there is no function to start it..you either have to wait 10 mins for it to start again our get out. Also the paint on the ceiling is peeling off and the vents are full of dirt. The small pool is freezing and there are probably only 10 loungers which was no where near enough. I had to sit on a chair for 20 minutes not very relaxing. Our Evening meal was also included in our hotel package, so we're really miffed when service charge was added for the total meal cost as if we were paying for it. Also all drinks are very expensive even the water! All in all the rooms and staff are lovely but the rest is mediocre.
Lunch with a Lake View – Absolutely Stunning!nnWe stopped here for lunch on our way to Oxford, and what a fantastic surprise it turned out to be!nnThe food and atmosphere were amazing. We were welcomed in a restaurant by very friendly Bridget - what a lovely lady!nnMy wife always has a tough time deciding what to order, but Mohi was incredibly helpful — he recommended the perfect dish, and she was thrilled with the choice. The prawn curry was absolutely delicious.nnThe view is a real bonus — the restaurant overlooks a beautiful lake, complete with swans gliding by. After lunch, we took a stroll around the lake, and the swans even came over to say hello. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience.nnService at the restaurant was impeccable — we truly couldn’t have asked for more. My wife is a bit of a coffee snob, and even she was impressed by her cappuccino — it put a big smile on her face!nWe left feeling relaxed, well looked after, and very happy.nnThank you for making our visit so special. We’ll definitely be back!
Beautiful location. Reception staff were welcoming and room was good. Not many loungers by the pool and towels very thin. Bar service was efficient but I had to go and ask for cutlery for my main course. Breakfast server made no contact, had to go and ask for an order to be placed.nThe real shock was receiving an email saying they couldn’t find the tv remote and that we’d been charged £35 to replace it!!! If we return it, the charge would be refunded! We don’t have their TV remote and so we replied to their email saying as such and got a standard this email is not monitored reply! We of course have no proof that we don’t have their remote so are left to bear the charge. Fuming
Visited for 1 night spa break . Quite disappointed with the spa facilities people siting in the jacuzzi having long conversations, hour or so no consideration at all. not enough loungers. Jaccuzi switches off for a long time needs sorting out.nnDidn't even bother with the sauna or steam room was fed up too many people in such a tight space.nnThe gym was fine it was empty.nnJust glad was there for just one night managed to focus on other things. But was not there for that wanted to relax.nnWould not return to this crowne plaza , the views are nice but not worth it on the weekend for a spa, if you are looking for a time to zone out. Weekday im hoping is better.nnStaff were nice , food was good breakfast was plenty enough choices and the dining area is big and clean.nnRoom was good but not sure what was so Executive.
This trip was a quick getaway staycation. I wanted to have some alone time away from the hustle and bustle of London. I had been going going going and still going and needed a pause. This place provided exactly what I needed.nEvery detail - Royal service at check-inI appreciated the upgraded room and stocked mini bar. I felt super special. Time spent in the spa was DIVINE !!nThe highlight of my stay was dinner for sure. Antiguan Chef Jumo Benjamin was OUTSTANDING!! The goat cheese and lavender appetizer- chef's kiss. I opted for the Indian section of the menu for the main . Delightful. Elderflower and lemon parfait was the perfect dessert to end dinner on a high note.nThe staff at Glaze Restaurant took excellent care of me.nI definitely will return.
