Having lived in Linton now for well over two years, I'm kicking myself for only just venturing into this amazing pub. Staff were very welcoming, and we were quickly seated. Very large selection of wines and a decent variety of beers on tap. However, the real highlight was the incredible food. Tuesday deal night was steak and chips for only 12 pound. A cheese burger with onion rings and chips. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Highly recommended will be back to try more of the menu.
Nice local pub, with a rough and ready but friendly crowd. Decent beer, good selection of drinks, well maintained and very well priced. They usually have sport on and the pool table is popular.nnDidn't stay in a room, or eat in the recently opened Indian restaurant.
The steak was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Service great and my partner had the burger and really enjoyed the quality. Will definitely be going back.
The Crown Inn staff looked after extremely well yesterday on the occasion of my father's wake. The food was delicious and the venue just perfect. Thank you for making us so welcome.
Great little find in Linton. Couple of pints of Exmoor Session Ale and great service to boot. No time to eat but everyone seemed to be enjoying their food.
