Gone down hill due to poor management and kitchen staff.
Needs people who care about the place and patrons rather than the profit. Needs a staffed kitchen with a qualified chef and a better menu.
Was told it would be a 30 min wait for food even though it wasn't busy and practically all of the menu comes pre prepared / frozen. Friends who had been at the pub told us that they had heard others complaining that the food was served cold and late too.

Decided to finish our drinks and head to the Dolphin just a short drive away which serves fresh home made food of a good standard without been overpriced. No wait time and with a service you can tell the staff care about.

A warm welcome from the friendly staff as always . Portions are plentiful and the food is good. The 2 for £ 9.99  is extremely good value .
Will be cooking less at home.

Went for a birthday meal last night. Booked for 6.30 as we had children with us. Waited over an hour for the food and it was definitely not worth the wait. Steaks were burnt to a crisp, skinny fries were inedible, children's meals were burnt and dry. Only one person behind the bar trying to serve drinks and food. We felt so sorry for her as she was run of her feet. Children wanted a dessert, big mistake as another 45 minute wait for a chocolate fudge cake and an ice cream sundae. We have gone to the crown for Yeats but after last night it will be a long time before we go again.

Just so disappointing. Left at 9.15 and everyone has to get up for work and school.
