Visited Shimlas for a light meal and had the Chicken Shimbali starter with an apple and mango juice. The restaurant has a really lovely atmosphere, and I especially liked the décor with the artificial trees, which makes it feel like you're sitting beneath a tree. It creates a unique and relaxing dining experience.nnThe Chicken Shimbali was cooked to perfection, soft, tender, cheesy, and full of flavour. The apple and mango juice was refreshing and complemented the meal really well.nnThe service was good, the food was excellent, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. If you're looking for delicious food in a great setting, I'd definitely recommend giving Shimlas a try.

We asked some locals where they would eat and one gentleman suggested Shimlas. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the menu. However we ordered the hummus and the Shinwari lamb on the bone.nThe hummus came with a fresh roti. It was delicious.nThe lamb was really nice too. It had rich flavours. Obviously nothing like home cooked but better than your takeaway curries.nOne little recommendation is to turn the loud music down.

Very good! There are many options to choose from on the menu. It can also hold many people as there is an upstairs too. I have been here a few times. The wait is quite long, but the food is decent. I was recently invited to celebrate the refurbishment of this Kushmuri Cuisine restaurant @shimlasrestaurants and wow, what a transformation!nnThe space is filled with vibrant colours, beautiful floral designs cascading from the ceiling, and authentic Indian inspired decor that really transports you.nnFor food, we went all in with a spicy chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and pilau rice - every bite was packed with incredible flavour. It was so good we even took some home for round two later!nnThey have a shop right next door for take away as well as their sit in restaurant, On top of that, the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe was just perfect. Ordered a Desi chicken Karahi and some barbecue. Taste of the food was average. Desi chicken karahi was sweet but it shouldn’t be. Although only the atmosphere was good.
