Stayed here 23/11/22 and had s great stay. The bed was really comfy, lots of space in the room. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond. Food was lovely in the restaurant, couldn't fault it. Would stay again Food & drinks: Great food, very reasonable and big portions
Very nice pub which a friend and I stopped at on the way to the Cotswolds. We were after food and a drink or two before we continuedon our journey to Upton Warren. We sat at a table nearer the bar end because the restaurant tables were all booked. We stopped on the off chance and we were grateful to find somewhere to eat. The food was very nice I had a veggie curry and rice. My friend had fish and chips. The manager was really nice and friendly as were his staff. A nice atmosphere and clean toilets, which count a lot. Food & drinks: Food was good and reasonably priced. Noteworthy details: Lovely and friendly manager and staff, clean and great food. Popular too as all the tables were booked in the restaurant area.
Excellent service at checkin, at the bar, breakfast and check out. As a solo traveller, I felt safe. Great room, comfortable bed and lovely breakfast, thank you
One word fantastic from the staff to the rooms breakfast is amazing we also had evening meal which was superb this place is a hidden gem
Staff were very friendly and accommodating We stayed in room 6, which was exceptionally clean and warm,all facilities good.
From the minute we arrived the staff could not do enough for us. They we so polite and very attentive. Even down to the cleaner asking if we needed anything in particular as we stayed two nights. A friendly bright place to stay. We would definitely recommend to anyone and hope we have the chance to go and stay again. Breakfast was lovely especially the yogurt, berries and Honey!!! My husband loved the cooked breakfast too.

Lovely welcome Good clean basic accommodation, good value. Quite a lot of banging doors particularly from house keeping opposite my room Will be back next year, hopefully
Chrismassy , tree etc. Friendy staff. Menu was nice, surf and turf highly recomended; steaks done medium , with centre just pink. Griddled tomato and a mushroom and either chips, skinny chips or mash.Service: 5/5
Lovely pub, however they no longer do the 2 for 1 deal and there was no specials board,wasn't much choice.Service: 4/5
