My first ever visit to this place in all the time I have lived in brighouse & my it didn’t disappoint the room that we were having are meal in plus entertainment was very open with stunning views of Yorkshire s finest greenery . We arrived a bit early but had a loverly chap called Richard have a chat to myself plus my parents explaining the history of the golf club which was a brilliant insight to the evening before we sat down to have are 3 course meal . The food to my taste was amazing it was just cooked right from starters to desert the staff were very warm n helpful to every in the room it s a very unique experience to have a golf club in the centre of a town or just not far from the main area but this place from the large car park great facilities plus very interesting history I would highly recommend plus I am not a golf fan but we also got a cracking view of the fair way with the green just yards away which was just so beautiful . I hope to call back next year or before thank you for the club’s professionalism plus high standards
This is a great golf course. The professional, Paul, is a great teacher and is well worth a few half hour lessons. The 19th hole is not bad either!!
Sorry for this late review but I promised that I would post one.nMy mother's funeral was in February of this year and I chose to have her wake gathering at Crow Nest Park.nIt is a lovely venue for such an event. The room was partitioned to make it proportionate to the number of people in attendance and the tables were covered in pristine white linen. It was cosy and warm. Staff arranged the flowers and memorabilia provided by family in readiness for our gathering.nThe food was very good indeed - we ordered afternoon tea with some extras and all was freshly made and generous. I can certainly recommend Afternoon Tea as a choice and provision was made for vegans and vegetarians etc.nStaff worked really hard and this was very much appreciated.nThank you.
No respect for the environment/wildlife or other people's property.nThe golf course has a pond that is used by wildlife. When the Ladies Captain and a groundsman were told that ducklings from the pond were stranded in the adjacent lane the response was 'good riddance, the wildlife is an absolute nuisance for the golf course'.nWhen one of the trees from the golf course collapsed, it demolished old stone walls either side of the coach road next to the club. The golf club repaired the wall on their side but did nothing with the wall on the farmers side, even though it was their unmaintained tree that fell on it.nThis golf club only cares about itself and clearly NOTHING else,
Brilliant Gold course but unfortunately last Christmas we went for a Christmas dinner and they did not have anything set us for us also after we left we were ill. This has happened a few times so I hope this gets resolved.
