- The staff are friendly and charismatic.n- The decor is interesting and there’s enough bric-à-brac to start an antiques shop.n- The prices are very fairn- The food was really good, generous potions of well cooked food.n- We were a group of 4 and everybody was pleased.n- We have been to many restaurants that were more upmarket whose food was nowhere near as good as this.nWe will use the Cross Keys again - it’s rare to find a traditional, independent pub with so much charm and such good food at this price point.
Spent a couple of nights there very clean & comfortable food was excellent & everyone was friendly parking is. Very tight so if your motor is big then I would take a look 1st. Breakfast was cooked by the gaffer & his missus very nice indeed they kind of worked around you with the start time. There are other places to go and drink and eat . Plenty about you won't get stuck . All in all I had a really good stay
Held my parents 65th wedding anniversary here. We had 22 friends and family for a 3 course meal, some family also stayed the night. We heard lots of good comments of how nice the food was and how smooth the service was. We also really appreciated the history the place held within its decoration.nThe owners were really accommodating in helping us organise the room for the event. The waitresses went above and beyond to make sure everyone was catered for.nHidden little gem , would recommend to others for a drink, meal or event.
Went for a Sunday Roast and can honestly say it was the best ive had. Everything cooked they way it should be, nothing was dry. Large portions and great service.
Amazing stay at Cross Keys Chatteris! Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel itself is charming, with a perfect blend of traditional English pub ambiance and modern comforts.nnOur room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. We particularly enjoyed the Sunday roast. We were lucky enough to be there on the night of the monthly pub quiz, which was so entertaining!nnI can't wait to return!
