We're closed for winter, and will reopen for Easter 2018. FREE to visit. This elegant Grade A listed former courthouse, built in 1773, now houses fascinating exhibitions about the historic town of Cromarty, which are FREE to visit.

The courtroom scene has life-like figures and audio enactment to tell the story of a trial.

A fascinating museum in Church Street, Cromarty depicting life in the area in days gone by. We visited today and had a very enjoyable time made even more pleasurable by the assistant Susan Florence and her knowledge of the people in the Old Photograph Album. Great museum, God shop and a good pub over the road for a pint afterwards.
