Nice pint, reasonable price. Toilets are not great, to be fair it's a bar and limited room for the toilets . Great staff friendly and helpful. To be blunt, It's a local pub.
Visited this bar again recently and its really after stepping up its game with a lovely new stylish paint job, it has a great traditional bar plus we felt really safe as the gentleman bar man was checking for Covid Passports and taking track and trace details. Pint of Guinness was the best part of our visit, so creamy so tasty and so so good and even got change from a fiver. Can't wait until i visit again . This place is the way Pubs should be run post Covid
The nice short man at the bar was very helpful but sometimes I had to get my drink for myself because he couldn’t reach it but great hospitality all around
Standard corner pub, nothing special, actually, could do with a complete makeover.. a little noisy but the horse racing was on. Good to see a bit of excitement in these dark days I suppose. Pint was pretty good though. Would have been nice if they opened the upstairs lounge to allow for a quieter atmosphere.
A good local bar just off Fitzmaurice Road. It has recently improved it's furniture to a navy colour on all the seats. Staff I found are nice and pints are very affordable. The toilets are poor and not the cleanest. A bit outdated on the outside and has seen better days but not a bad spot for a pint
1 star is because I can't give 0. Stay away this place is a dive, the previous owner gave half the place half a paint job but not even a TV for the football is ridiculous. The toilets are DISGUSTING, surprises me health & safety haven't closed it down, what's worse is new owners/management think that little of customer's that this is the norm. Keep your money and go elsewhere
The outdated look of this pub from outside serves it very little justice. I was amazed when I went in and saw how cozy and friendly the pub, staff and customers were. Lovely couches all around with big TV screens showing all the sporting events during the day. Young staff walking around all the time to take orders so you never have to leave your seat. Most importantly their Guinness is great
My family have been going to this amazing pub, for 4 generations. Best customer service ever, staff are extremely helpful and polite. I have brought friends from all over the world to this pub. Not one has left willing lol. Best Dublin pub EVER.
The staff are nice and so is the atmosphere, but my lord the toilets are a disgrace I wouldn't let a dog take a dump in the down stairs toilet.
The best place to go on a Friday night upstairs. Great music and entertainment, bingo, chase the joker 4k jackpot and karaoke open till 3.30am.
