Shane welcomed us. Asked about where we came from what we were doing, are plans. Said see you tomorrow which he definitely will do. 3pints of Guinness packet of nuts and crisps just under €20 And introduced us to red lenonade
A good pint of Guinness, friendly and attentive staff. A good place to sit and solve the world's problems with the locals over a drink.
Slowest Irish barman I've ever encountered. Not the most pleasant either. Pint of Coors at €6.20 is way too expensive for a pub like The Findlater. Not worth visiting and more than likely won't be backService: 1/5
This is a great spot, quiet enough most days it's a GAA shop so match days will be different. The Guinness was €5.20 which isn't bad these days... Especially for a very good pint. Bar staff very friendly, helpful and polite... Was in Saturday only had 2, went back for 1 on Sunday Barman asked "Guinness yeah"? Before I had even opened my mouth, nice to see. Sorta place you can go in alone for a pint with the paper or a book, or crackin place for a conversation with friend/partner... The only thing I would change is the red and green decor it's a bit loud, I'm assuming there's a Mayo connection... But that is being really critical as everything else makes it a mighty fine spot.
Stayed a couple of the days in a Airbnb near by. The owner is a friendly and decent guy and this place seems to be a pretty authentic pub option in Dublin. Real dubliners looking for a cold one after work.Service: 5/5
Stopped in for a pint. The staff is friendly but it was a bit loud, as a game was on. That's fine, especially if you're interested in that, but it was too loud to have a conversation so we didn't stay.
The Findlater has an old atmosphere and old decor but clean.. pints of guiness beautiful. Local and passing trade from the matches at Croke park.. worth a visit ..
The best authentic pub in Dublin.Service: 5/5
First time going before the Dublin/Kerry match. Great location in relation to Croke Park/O'Connell St. Pints are reasonably priced, service was quick
Standard old style Dublin pub. Not very busy considering we were there on a Friday night in December. No craft or local beer selection and very dismissive bar staff when asked about it. Good for work drinks if you're in the area but otherwise there are much better pubs in the area.
