We are very proud to have amazing textile artists who visit Garstang to teach for us. We also deliver sewing classes for all levels of ability; from our popular Machine Sewing for the Terrified to embroidery, patchwork, felt making, textile journaling & more. The Potting Shed workshop. I absolutely loved every minute of it. Linda is so friendly and helpful. The group of ladies I was with were so nice. It was like going round to spend an evening with friends. I would recommend it to anyone. I enjoyed it so much I started the next class the following night. Absolutely FAB!!!
Fabulous course for the absolute beginners like me.Linda is great at explaining everything and very patient.I had a great time and left with a lovely cushion cover sown by myself.Thank you very much.
Another fabulous course with the Creative thread team. After a long lockdown it was good to get together with like minded people. The tutor was excellent as was the cake. Plenty of space around to not feel worried hand sanitizer and masks worn when working closely together. All in all a fantastic experience
Creative Threads is a great place to buy everything from a spool of thread, a kit to make a felt bear to a sewing machine. Linda, Rebecca and the team are friendly, supportive and extremely knowledgable and always happy to offer advice. Thanks especially to Rebecca for sharing her expertise on the Janome sewing machine I bought - I felt so much more confident that this was the machine for me after she’d showed me what it could to and some tips about how to get the best out of it. My go-to happy place for all things sewing.
Fantastic stock. Extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always a delight to visit and shop there. Great workshops available too. My favourite shop!
Super shop. Lovely ladies with huge knowledge of lots of subjects. I have done workshops which were fun and cake too! Good cafés in the village too if you come from away.! Ann Lansom.
This shop is packed full of goodies if you have an interest in any fibre/fabric crafts. There is even a space upstairs for workshops. Over the years I've attended 4 of Linda's classes and have learned loads.
Lovely shop to browse for all manner of things. The workshops and tutors are always busy but informative. I always check to see what’s coming up to try my hand at.
Brilliant shop for all ones sewing needs, good helpful customer service. I have attended a number of 1 day and 2 day courses and have enjoyed them all. Linda is an excellent tutor very patient and knowledgeable. Guest tutors are wonderful and very giving of their hints and tips to help improve ones own work. Would 100% recomend Creative Thread Studio to anyone interested in needlework whether a complete novice or more experienced.
Fabulous shop selling lots of crafty things, merino wool for felting, beautiful fabrics for dressmaking and quilting and lots of notions! Well with a visit and would definitely recommend the workshops which are a great way of spending a day or weekend with like minded people. Linda and the girls are so helpful and Archie is just the cutest!!
