Visited here recently for thw first time since it had a refurb for a game of bowling with the Mrs and kids. It's great to kill a bit of time, they have bowling, a kids soft play, arcades as well as a bar and restraunt where you can either sit to eat or order food and drink to your lane if you're bowling. Food isn't brilliant but ive had much worse. Although they did take a considerable time to cook it for what it was . Bowling can be expensive but they have some great deals on if you at certain days and times the kids soft play is very reasonably priced.
It didn't change at all from the refurb. There's a cushioned spinning pole that's really hard to spin. Needs looking at. It's clean and cheap enough
Kids loved the arcade. Staff were terribly slow, at one pont there was 4 people discussing how to process a refund with a queue of customers waiting the be served. Sold out of some menu options but still allowed us to order. Replacement food then came out 10 minutes after the rest.
I've been with my nieces and it was good for them but never realised how rubbish it is for under 1s, what's wrong with having a bit of more soft play for babies? There's one bit that we could sit our daughter in and it was all dark. Since you charge each adult to get in, they could make use of the money! The staff always seem not arsed and forgot about out drink too. Food is overpriced as well
Kids love it which is the main point really and it's just big enough for 2 year old. But, it's not the cleanest of places. Tables not cleared, toilets not checked, and to be fair really need replacing/refurbishing. Only 1 toilet for a room full of toilet training toddlers... Not great!
It was fun to begin with until one of my twins managed to get out of the fire door which should be alarmed, spent 20 minutes looking for him and the staff didn’t seem to care that a child was missing, toilets and door to the kitchen was easily accessible to toddlers, apart from that the soft play was good
Far too hot and they don't seem to understand how to clean the tables or bathroom. Also there's no structure when it comes to controlling the children. For example I couldn't let my toddler play in the toddler only area because there were older children having some sort of mob off in it. Also £2 for a cupcake that come in 12 packs from aldi for £1.20.
Really disappointed.!! Spent about £30 on food and to get in. The food was absolutely awful, didnt even eat it. There was no veg offered in the meals and had to make something to eat when I got in for the kids. Milkshake was about £2.50 each and was just whipped cream with abit of milk. The 2 girls working behind the bar left the door open to the bar & kitchen and my 3yo autistic son got out through it and could of got lost or hurt in the kitchen.!! The staff were quite rude to my partner when she complained about the food aswel. Could be a good place if big changes were made as the play area is quite good.
Went to this softplay on a Sunday around 2pm.... Cost 3.50 for my 1 year old and 4.50 for my 4 year old so 9 quid in total, not much for a 1 year old to do and the area for him was overrun by unsupervised older kids dangerously throwing their bodies about so we couldn't even use it half the time. I wouldn't have minded so much if they lowered the price for toddlers. My eldest had a good time however.
£1 for each adult? You'd have no kids without adults. Also, signs say no photos and no bare feet in the play area. Guess what? That was happening. About 6 staff on for under 10 kids visiting too. No wonder they need to charge £6.50 for two adults and a 4 year old. Apart from that, the play area itself was well constructed and good fun.
