Had an amazing lunch there today. Great service by attentive staff. Beautiful interior that's a riot of colour and eclectic collection of wonderful items. Highly recommend.
Came here for my mother's birthday. Staff were absolutely superb. Even though we didn't say we were there for that, the staff picked up on this and gave me mum a treat at the end of the night. Very touched by that. They also couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. Food was excellent if a little pricey and good guest ales from Wensleydale brewery.
Was told to try this when I was in the area and got to say its a 5 star from me from the cheese souffle starter prawn cocktail . Chicken main and cheese board afterwards was absolutely delicious.. The place it self was a lovely good old fashioned pub which is hard to find these days with great staff If your in the area give it a try you will not be disappointed..
We went here for my grandads first heavenly birthday. There was more than 20 of us in our own room. The beef was gorgeous and overall a lovely pub. Will definitely return if I'm ever in the area again. Thank you
Enjoyed a wonderful evening meal here with friends. Very cosy and comfortable surroundings, ideal for a winter's evening. I thoroughly enjoyed both courses; the cheese souffle was packed full of flavour and the feather blade beef was mouthwatering and tender. Overall, I would say the food feels a bit special, an ideal venue to visit for a celebration. The staff looked after us very well, they were friendly, polite and provided a great service. We will return.
Beautiful original 1906 Hall. Good service. On our visit the Hall was stifingly hot and this was in February! Rooms fine but not special. Dinner disappointing re the food. Would have expected much better for the price. Overall not good enough for the price.
Nice pub nice atmosphere. The food looks nice but not yet tried it! The beer is definitely good!
Food excellent standard and quality. Staff very friendly. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere a tad on the expensive side. Grwst for special occasions.
Little gem, lovely gasto food, great garden/outdoor bar and pizza oven, and fantastic music event while we were there, we will be back again to try the fillets and pizzas
Had a pub lunch x food and service excellent x so lucky to have such a great pub in our village
