You need to take your smart phone with you for track and trace. Well set out, they have a one way system in place. Could do with a few more hand sanitisers put out. Overall very pleasant.
Lovely place. Friendly staff. Good selection of craft beers. Massive beer garden with big screens for sporting events. Can get very lively. Beer garden has heated covered seating areas. Great in the winter months. Food available most of the day.
Would have put 4 as the food and staff were lovely but despite booking over the phone, had to wait to be seated and staff had no recollection of reservation, waited around 10 mins at the bar to be served. Once we did have food it was nice but not everything was on the menu and for those reasons 3/5.

Steak was not cooked very well raw it should have been cooked a lot longer no one asked use if our meal was ok all other place we eat out at do
I was a bit weary about going out after the lockdown . But I went into the black bull and instantly felt safe. Good social distancing staff were great .enjoyed a different night out
