Love this shop! Great range of crafting materials and friendly staff. Quite hard to find things as there's that much but staff are knowledgeable and happy to help. l always look forward to a good browse, although I don't think I've ever come out empty handed!
Had a great afternoon and enjoyed the look around. Great if you are into scrapbooks and cards etc. I'm more a sewer and knitter. Had nice wool but not a huge selection. Would go back cause lots to browse through. Bit like going to the SECC for a craft show.
Loved the shop huge variety of crafting items. Very helpful staff who were able to help us choose the items needed for making my neices wedding invitations. Delighted with our visit.
Great shop, I love it, it's a huge shop/warehouse every crafters dream place prices aren't bad too. There's a wee room at the back of the store where you can get tea or coffee with a few little tables to sit. They have a Web site and if you buy in the store you get the Internet prices in there too.
Don't be fooled! It is not on Kelvin Avenue - entrance hidden round the back and really very badly signposted. Name is mis leading too as the store caters for card making principally and very few other "crafts". Good news was that it was card making I was interested in and while there is plenty stock it is set out like a jumble sale. Really nicely disdainful staff who totally put me off with their very unhelpful attitude. I won't be back.
THIS SHOP HAS NOW CLOSED DOWN.... ONLINE SALES ONLY! Wide range of stock particularly aimed at card crafts. A small amount of wool is available. Could be doing with being more organised.....especially the stamp section, there's no flow whatsoever! Parking is free in the small car park. You can also park on the street outside.
Great selection of card crafts. Bought some bits and pieces for my scrapbook, as a newbie to the craft world I found it a little daunting, there is a lot of things which I didn't really understand how they would be used or what they were for. I'm sure I will be back, I'll try to come prepared next time so I know exactly what I'm looking for.
Best craft store I have visited. Huge selection of crafts catered for with helpful assistants if you need advice about any products. Mail order is also available with speedy delivery.
Craft world is great! Any time I need crafting supplies, whatever the project, Craft World is the first place I visit. They carry a great range of materials; card making supplies, art materials, jewellery supplies, paints, ink, stamps, wool... if you are into crafting - it's like Aladdin's cave of wonders! The staff are always helpful and friendly. I take my kids there to paint porcelain figurines and spend their pocket money on something that is not a computer game. I often buy crafting kits, for children, as birthday gifts for their friends and I would recommend this shop as a good place to find unusual gifts for artistic friends and relations.
This place is very well stocked ,if you are looking for anything to do with crafting, in addition to this there is a lot of Christmas crafting material. Also tweezers,glue,crafting knifes,scissors etc. Small car park ,but you can also park on the main road in the industrial estate. In addition to this there is all kinds off crafting paper etc . Just off the motorway on m8 , second hillington junction , turn left then at roundabout ,turn right ,next roundabout take a right ,then fourth left and then first right and you will see craft world on your right.
