The worst manicure experience of my life. I couldn’t have imagined receiving such poor service in such a beautiful space. I had to stop the nail technician midway through applying the gel color because of how bad it looked. I asked her to remove everything and just wanted to leave the salon. My nails have never looked worse—I’m so sad and disappointed

I went to Cowshed Shoreditch for a Lash Lift and Tint a couple of weeks ago and I'm honestly shocked by the lack in professionality and customer service. I had done many lash lifts before at other places, much cheaper as well and was alway happy with the procedure and the result. The experience at Cowshed was pretty uncomfortable, the treatment room was a tiny basement room and it felt like the therapist was pulling my lashes out. Unfortunately the result was over-lifted, asymmetrically curled lashes, that just look rediciulous. Even the lady at the reception seemed quite surprised "Oh wow, they are VERY lifted.". After the first shock had passed I complained a day later to the customer service via Email, and the response I got was even more upsetting. They claimed the lash lift was perfect in the first sentence that's kind of gaslighting, thanks for that, but then admitted in the same response that the therapist probably had used too small shields, resulting in overly curled lashes. The only thing they offered for compensation was 15% on the next treatment. Thank you, but no thank you. My response Email to that has been ignored for a week now. From such a supposedly high end establishment I would have expected a very different quality in customer service. That was definitely my first and last visit. Only positives were the lady who did my patch test a few days before and the lady at the reception, who were both very friendly.
Worst experience of my life. Gel didn’t last for 3 days even, nails broke. Colour put very badly… my 12 y.o sister did a better job with my nail. And the price??? Omg 70 £ for what?ServicesManicure
This morning I had a booking confirmed for 9am usual email confirmation. I arrived 10 min before appointed as requested. The receptionist was not able to find my booking, she had me waiting stainding for 30 minutes while trying to contact her manager, who never appeared by 9.25, when I decided to leave. I was not offered neither a rebooking, a voucher, compensation, neither a glass of water. I am beyond shocked by this customer care and the inability to manage their appointments. So I guess I am off to holiday tomorrow with no waxing done, thanks Cowshed. Oh, and the same thing happened a few weeks ago, I was there for a manicure, therapist never appeared she had a problem that day, they had me waiting for half an hour until I chased and realised the appointment was not going to happen... Silly me I gave them another chance.
I treat myself to a facial here every so often and I’ve loved it every time. Dolly has been my fave so far. She spent ages on extraction and it didn’t hurt. She gave me a great lymphatic facial massage. She was kind and cared.
I visited the Cowshed Spa Shoreditch recently and had a deep tissue massage. It's fair to say that it was very disappointing. Put it simply I do not go for a deep tissue massage to have a massage gun used on me...very poor

Lovely spa wish they had more gel nail colour options and wish the massages were stronger without asking and if you do ask sometimes it doesn’t happen. Other than that it is a nice branch but I prefer cowshed in Primrose Hill Camden. More colours and they ask more questions about what pressure should be applied. But the Shoreditch branch is silent compared to the Camden one which allows for more conversation. It just depends on what a person prefers experience wise. I just happen to live closer to east.
I was treated to a Gel Pedicure by my lovely workplace and I must say Cowshed Shoreditch is the place to be. Anastasiia the therapist was so professional, friendly, took her time to ensure that I was happy throughout the treatment and literally provided the best customer service. The salon itself is lovely with a modern decor but so relaxing and cosy. I will definitely return and thank you again Anastasiia for making mu first time experience with Cowshed a great one
