I had assumed that paying membership meant that I could join classes and be free to walk any part of the gym , apparently not .nnI walked up to the bike class room they have upstairs with intention to join a class and I walked through the door the class had recently begun and I was met with shouting by the member of staff stating that there’s a class going on and to leave .nnHaving realised I was not welcome I went to leave trough the doors accross the room but was met with sarcastic and belittling remarks by the ‘gentlemen’ a mr Mike Gingell running the class , who then proceeded to say I wasnt aloud to join the class in a very aggressive way whilst also borderline shouting.nnRefusing to let myself be bullied I stood my ground only to be met with more snarky remarks and concerningly rather threateningly said “ we’re going to have a little chat” refusing to waste more of my time on him I then removed myself .nnOnly reason it’s not a one star review is that when I voiced my concerns to a young member of staff at the desk I was delighted in his professionalism and manners and other members of staff are very polite however I recommend everyone to avoid a ‘ Mike gingell ‘ he is was extremely rude, aggresive and patronising speaking to me as if I was a child , mike you’ve let your team down big time .

Very busy, loads of activities. ITV were filming the Welsh Blood Service there today.
Held my grandchild's 6th birthday party which turned out to be an excellent venue to hold it. The hire of the hall for 2 hours including an indoor bouncy castle, tables and seating big enough to cater for 36 children and their parents for £105.00. This did not include the food which we all provided. The children all had a fantastic time on the bouncy castle ensuring they were never bored. There was also a choice of coffees available at the reception desk, exactly the types sold in Costa for around £2.20 to £2.75. Parking was no problem as plenty of spaces available by the main entrance for mother's and toddlers as well as disabled blue badge holders.
Been numerous works going on for best part of 2 years, certain facilities like the spa have been out of action since 2020, with no communication from management on when these facilities will be open again, keep blaming contractors for lack of facilities, no reason to have the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna all out of action. Numerous equipment such as treadmills are still out of action 3 months this is a pain when already limited equipment is limited further because they are faulty and not been fixed, Roofing works have been taking place for about 6 months now with no sign of being finished any time soon, leaking roof often rendering the gym out of action or even being closed on numerous occasions 22,1,22 recent 50% off is appreciative but it’s about 1 year to late. Most gyms, leisure facilities are currently offering 1 month free gym membership with access to all facilities! The staff are helpful enough and apologetic but there has been very little if any communication from senior management
