The atmosphere is super relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to come with friends.nnThe drink selection is amazing and The bartenders are really friendly even in busy times and always help you pick something you'll like.nnWhat really sets The County apart is the customer service. I accidentally left my card and ID there last time, and I was so stressed about it. But Craig was super helpful, He found my stuff and even mailed it back to me.nnOverall, The County is a fantastic pub with great drinks, tasty food, and excellent service and would highly recommend to check out if you’re in Lytham :
The County is my happy place. I often eat alone during the day due to a huge workload. And it's nice to have a peaceful meal and great service as opposed to cooking for myself. I am made to feel welcome and treated like one of the family. The food is served quickly and to a high standard. Most of all it's affordable. The place is spotless. A credit to Craig and Stuart the main characters. Gabby, Steve at the bar etc, plus Ian and Owen and the kitchen team are all long term members of staff which make my visits feel familiar. Cannot credit enough. Thank you
Great location, near to the train station & Lytham Green. Perfect for Lytham Festival. Amazing price & lovely breakfast. Very welcoming staff too. Will definitely be back & highly recommend the County Hotel in Lytham.
Room was basic but the bed was comfy and we had everything we needed.nHowever, it was quite unclear when breakfast was the next day. It would be great if timings could be included in the information booklet in the room. Service had been good at the bar in evening but found it to be quite poor at breakfast. We felt a bit uncomfortable. The. Continental breakfast was non existent and there were no clean glasses. The coffee also ran out but there was no one around to ask. When our cooked breakfast arrived there were some items missing and it wasn't as advertised.
A great place to be. I had a beautiful room and bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. Only advice I have: a box where you can leave your key if you want to check out during the night. There was one as far as I understood, but not in reach because behind closed counter.
