Nestled In the heart of Cornwall at Piece, between Redruth, Camborne and Fourlanes, this traditional country pub has always been well known for it's outstanding hospitality, with great food always freshly prepared, the finest beers, wines and spirits, ample parking, great views and most importantly a warm welcome, visitors come from miles away to enjoy the atmosphere..
Dogs are welcome in one of the bars and in the garden.
You can make to most of our wonderful location, the great flat load is just up the road if you fancy a nice walk with your dog before popping in :)

What a gem of a pub,we turned up without booking and they managed to squeeze us in,the dinner was just like my mums Sunday roast cooked to perfection,the decor is mostly traditional crockery and brass which I love giving a old fashioned warm atmosphere to the place,the staff were very friendly and so too the locals,then out of the blue the whole pub sprang into full throng shanty song which blew us all away and found it quite moving to witness such tradition even a guy walking past with his dog was singing in time lol,would recommend this place to anyone who loves tradition we will certainly visit again,love it absolutely love it. Parking: Large car park with fantastic views Kid-friendliness: Good choice of food and a pool room
Wow what a super old school country pub. Looks like it's not changed in years and I mean that in the best way. Really enjoyed stopping in for a quick one. Didn't have an ale but they served a couple. Does food. Friendly service and some chatty patrons. Known for its karaoke nights which I would have loved to have experienced as I've not got a bad voice once I've had a few down me. Recommended

We visited the Countryman Inn twice last week whilst on holiday in Cornwall. This is a lovely country pub with welcoming staff and friendly regulars. The food here is delicious and you get enormous portions. Extremely good value for money. They also serve a nice pint.. We had Directors which was very good. We went the second time with my sister and her family. Next time we visit we will definitely call back. I highly recommend a visit to this lovely pub.
Nice atmosphere, well priced, had a starter to share which was good, two roasts both hot with good selection of veg and two meats, and dessert was delicious. Very reasonable for the amount of food we got and plenty for a big eater. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
A brilliant, old school pub. We stayed on Monday night in our camper in the car park which filled up fast after 6.30pm. There was a live shanty group who do a regular practice session - one of the best I have heard. The staff were great and the homemade lasagne yummy! Food: 5/5

Good pub ! Quite isolated above Camborne. Big, and a little old fashioned. Fresh flowers on every table. Good choice of beers - Directors, Old Peculier and others. Food also, but did not try. Clearly a big community resource wirh music and other events every night.
Can't rate the Countryman highly enough. Went today for Sunday lunch. The food was cooked perfectly, large portions and piping hot. Lovely friendly staff too. A really nice day.Food: 5/5
Love this place! Nick the landlord is so welcoming, the barmaids are friendly and the food is good. A wonderful atmosphere and well worth a visit, especially on the 1st Sunday of every month when the Red River Singers lead the whole pub in a sing-song x
