A convenient stop on our route back to Kent from our camping trip near Pwllheli. Located just outside Corwen, the venue has ample parking space and is dog friendly. The service, food and facilities were exceptional. It was fairly busy during our visit but our order was dealt with quickly and in good order. We will visit Country Cooks again and would highly recommend this cafe to any potential customer looking for a good experience and a tasty wholesome meal.
So glad we stopped for pancakes, service was quick, friendly and the food was lush. Proper bacon, maple syrup and Welsh pancakes. Cappuccino was nice too. There was a friendly vibe and the other customers were lovely too.
Unexpected find. Excellent clean well managed Cafe/Resturant with great food to match. I will recommend it anytime. Staff pleasant helpful and on the ball. Will visit them again in passing. Parking: Plenty. Wheelchair accessibility: Solid wheelchair ramp available.
Glad we stopped for a cup of tea/coffee and have some pudding with our family and friends. Very lovely, friendly atmosphere and very clean kitchen! We loved it here and hope to come back again when we visit Wales again!
Lovely place on the way back from Snowdon. I had a cottage pie with peas and a cherry pancake with ice cream. They were divine. The staff are friendly, and the lady gave us maps and a quick chat on North Wales. It is definitely worth dining. The huge porcelain cats all around the place are a must-see too.
Lovely café with friendly staff. Food cooked fresh & served nice & hot. The salad is good & unusually served with fruit in it, which we like. I would like to see more vegetarian/vegan dishes on the menu hence 4*'s not 5 that said we did find something we liked. I had the vegetarian burger served with chips and garnish, which I enjoyed & my husband had the vegetarian lasagna served with chips and salad. All very good. Would definitely recommend. The café has numerous cat ornaments & teapots around the window sills and on selves around the walls, plenty to look at and while waiting for your meals, also a lovely view from the windows.
Fantastic friendly service , food was fresh and delicious and served hot. Busy little place and a great find. If your passing stop for great food and great value.
Came with the family and it's an unusual place, but lovely. Unfortunately the food severely let it down. I ordered a minted lamb burger, which at around £10 I was expecting a decent meal. The lamb pattie itself was fine, but serving it with a sachet of mint sauce and calling it a minted lamb burger left me wondering if I was on a prank show. Small serving of chips and no salad at all left me feeling ripped off, which was a shame as otherwise the other meals were fine, a tad on the pricey side, but to be expected in the location. It was clean, the staff were helpful. Seats were a bit on top of each other, but this was a nice thing for us. Dog friendly and allowed in under tables.
I bring my daughter here as she loves the pancakes. Lovely place and lovely people. Plus, if you are into your cat figurines I mean, who isn't, right :- , the window displays are somethign else!
What a lovely place. Clean tidy and the staff were very pleasant. We both had breakfast with tea and coffee. It was delicious. Well worth it.Food: 5/5
