Came here when she wasn't open but she still let me grab a brew and a slice of Lemon cake. Much appreciated and she's very friendly as well!! If you're in the village then get along
It is the most adorable characterful little tea-room for miles around and it's twice now I've stopped there after walking around the nearby area! The food is delicious and there is a good range of things to buy, and the staff are absolutely lovely! It would be best to ring up and try to book in advance or check availability though if you wish to eat in at peak times because there are few tables.
We love visiting this small, friendly tea room. The food is delicious home cooked fayre, at a reasonable price. Not only that, our dog is welcomed with open arms and complimentary home cooked sausages.Food: 5/5
Great friendly place. Food always lovely. Come here quite often after taking my daughter to the park round the corner. There are not enough places like this. Janet does an amazing job keeping it running.
Visited this wonderful little tea room today. What a find! The selection of cakes are amazing and we were spoiled for choice! All homemade. We finally decided on the chocolate and Guiness cake and the plum and pistachio cake! They were delicious and the coffees are lovely too. We will definitely be returning to try a hot meal with another cake! All extremely reasonable prices too!

First visit to this little known tea rooms. My Mum and I had the afternoon tea for two. At £22 for the two of us, it was very good value. You get four finger sandwiches and a smoked salmon and cream cheese tortilla, two cakes where you choose the ones that you want, a bowl of crisps, and a scone with butter, jam and cream and a pot of tea. Booking IS required for afternoon tea. There is a substantial menu and daily specials. Definitely worth a visit if you live nearby, or even if you're out on a hike. We will definitely be coming back.
Stopped off mid walk for a lovely sausage barm, coffee and a Chorley cake. Nice little cafeFood: 5/5
First time at this lovely cafe and tea rooms after first time up Great hill, and it won’t be our last for either Staff here are wonderful, cakes are fabulous, and prices are unbelievable We’re already working out how early we get up to do the walk next time in order to partake in the all day breakfast after. Only 5 tables inside so can get full quickly especially mid afternoon but that’s the sign of great popular place
Stopped by for a coffee and some cake, the staff were so pleasant and friendly. The homemade cake was absolutely delicious. Well worth a visit!
