Story

The Cosy Corner Lounge Vision:

To open an industrial vintage themed lounge, with nautical overtones due to its close proximity to the coastline, which will serve exceptional food and drinks. With focus on first class service all delivered in a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.

Owners, Adam and Sophie have a wealth of experience and passion which they want to bring back to their home town of Porthcawl by opening their own restaurant and cocktail lounge.

Our experienced chefs will be cooking up our twist on Modern European dishes, using only the best of locally sourced ingredients. Our menus will be continually changing, keeping our offering fresh and seasonal.

The Cosy Corner mixologists are already hard at work creating the perfect pairings for our opening menu, using only the freshest of ingredients and infusions.

We hope to welcome you into our new venture this summer!!

Great restaurant and bar!! Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area. Catered well for a large group of 7 and the food and drinks came very quickly too. The food was delicious!! We continue to be amazed by the quality of the food here! Such a creative Asian fusion concept, without compromising on the quality of the Asian flavours. Fresh ideas fairly frequently as well. Lovely ambience and right by the Porthcawl sea front as well which makes for a beautiful walk before/after a wonderful meal here. :Food: 5/5
Fabulous lunch , great atmosphere, staff super polite and quick, thank you Taylor . We had crispy beef and chicken skewers and the cauliflower, all absolutely divine , tasty and hot, suoberb chef , mulled wine warming in the background , lovely . Popped in on a Sunday afternoon unfortunately they'd stopped serving food and ended up staying for quiet a few drinks. Good choice of beers, wines, cocktails. Really friendly service, great atmosphere and good music. Loads of dogs around which made it even more enjoyable. Can't wait to go back to try some of the food Update: managed to return and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this place ! Food is amazingly tasty and flavored, meat, veggie or fish kind of Thai tapas but good portion, 3 is more than enough short menu but perfect for quality . Cocktail are delicate and could stop mine ! Talking about staff and service she was awesome running for everyone but not forgetting anyone, advising and very professional ! : nice atmosphère and cosy front of the sea. The best address of Porthcawl!
Everything would have been 5 stars but our two meals were served several minutes apart, also the coffee was not to the same standard as the food. But we would not hesitate to return. Lovely staff.Food: 5/5

Had Sunday lunch today 18th February 24 Absolutely gorgeous food !!!! staff very polite asked for extra carrots and they did just that every was hot except the room it was cold in there . We sat in front of the Bar and the Draft from the doors was cold on the legs . It is warmer towards the back by kitchen. Can't fault the food . We hope this helps the owners thanks
Absolutely beautiful food. Freshly made and boiling hot coming out. Relaxed atmosphere will definitely be returning!
