We came in yesterday between 2 -3pm for two coffees and a vegan Christmas cake slice. My partner offered to buy me a travel much so I chose the metal one. The red headed (ginger) girl behind the counter couldn't find any anywhere and her colleagues kept commenting that they were bubble wrapped under the counter. There didn't appear to be any. I was then offered the display one which i declined. She then vanished behind the counter and exclaimed "I found one!" To which I was really pleased. However, I then watched her put the display mug into a dirty box and give it to me. I doubted myself but when i got in the car the box she had put the dusty display mug into was labelled 'costa snowman ceramic mug'. 
This is not okay. For the sake of making a massive company  £10 you massively insulted a customer and have ensured that next time we go to the shopping centre Costa is the last place we'll go. Thank it says a lot for the character of a person.

Go there every week with my sister. Always good service & staff always friendly

I love going to costa. All the staff are very polite and usually it is busy there. I have only given it four stars because it is slacking a little on cleanliness. I definitely recommend going there.
