We shopped here every day during our 7-day holiday and loved it! The pizzas were so good that I had one four times, and the Steak & Stilton pasties were absolutely delicious. They also sell excellent fresh bread.nnYes, it's a little more expensive than a supermarket, but it's right by the beach and has almost everything you could need. The staff are always friendly and helpful.nnHighly recommended!
Pizza from the hut is excellent but we waited 55 minutes and yes some of the staff are pretty rude but the boy on the till and man doing the cooking were very nice. You cannot arrive anywhere near closing time and expect a pizza as they will tell you they’re fully booked. I would recommend this spot but make sure you get there early or phone in advance to order.
The wood fired Pizzas were so good we went back a second night! Pre-order earlier in the day to beat the rush! Customer service was excellent they were churning out the orders like a military operation and with a smile!! Enjoy!! Number to preorder is on the last picture with the menu.
Seriously poor attitude from the pizza staff. I have eaten here before and regularly use the shop when staying in the area. The Pizza was always great. My experience today after visiting around 3 pm to ask about ordering 8 pizzas was shocking. I was told to come back between 4 and 8 to order, wait and collect the pizza’s by Max. I returned at 6pm to do so and was informed pizzas were fully booked and sold out. When i asked why I wasn’t told this at 3 pm I was greeted with a shrug of the shoulders, a laugh in my face and told I wasn’t getting a pizza today. It must have been so funny that some of the other staff joined in with the hilarity. When i asked for a managers e mail to complain, the response was again laughter and “i cant wait to read it”. It is the worst customer service i have ever experienced in 57 years. The staff found it almost hilarious to turn people away. Not a word of apology or acceptance that it would have been so simple to tell me to order online. There was another person in the shop also complaining after the exact same experience came in the afternoon, told to come back after 4 then when he returned had the exact same attitude from the exact same staff members. My advise - however good the pizza used to be its not worth it. I will not be coming back. The staff attitude is a disgrace.
We visit Mawgan Porth regularly, it’s such a lovely place and we often pop into Cornish Fresh. They also serve amazing Pizza’s by the way. This morning however was not a great experience unfortunately. To the young girl with a slight hint of attitude who served us - singing “You don’t belong here” as we walked out is never a good thing to do!
