I couldn't fault Cornish Carpets for any part of their service. Bill was polite, friendly and efficient at every stage. The price quoted was reasonable and competitive. The carpet is great quality and the job was well done.

This is the only carpet retailer we have used for a number of years and have always been very pleased with the service provided.  Their fitting service is excellent.

However, our recent purchase didn't go quite so smoothly, and we ended up with twice as much carpet as was needed.  

When I queried why we had so much left over I was told it was due to the width that the carpet came in.  I did ask why I was not advised of this at the time of purchase and the response was to say that 'I took a number of samples and this was the one I chose'.

I write this review purely as a precaution to other customers to make sure you ask about the width of your chosen carpet, which I failed to do, because your carpet could end up costing you twice as much as it should.
