You don't go for the atmosphere; you go for the reasonably priced, delicious chips. A large is easily enough for two adults to share. The fish had increased in price because everything has but the sausages are tasty. It's an honest-to-goodness, traditional chippy. You can't go wrong.Food: 4/5
I travel along the English coast most summers and have eaten lots of fish and chips. I can honestly say this shop has the best fish and chips I have ever tasted as for their roast chicken It's delicious. Despite the small price increase its still good value for money and the BEST chip shop in Peckham.
PROPER FISH AND CHIPS and brings out the best in the neighbourhood- always a friendly chat to be had with the locals! The pricing is too generous, I would have paid more. This chippie will definitely hit the spot and make you feel like you’re at the seaside.

The best fish and chip shop there is, hands down. The Taiwanese family who run it are so friendly - even when I say I don't want any chips I always find a few tucked into my parcel of fish - and the food is always delicious. Chips are just the best ever and the batter on the fish just perfect. Much cheaper than other chippies in the area yet so much better. Whenever our street has one of its Friday Night Fish Nights the shop always has our preorder exactly right and all freshly cooked for when we collect, with a few extras thrown in free. Excellent all round.
Basics done very well indeed. I love old businesses like this. Great prices too.

Used to get my food from here years ago today I bought food sorry to say the quality of food was really terrible and the customer service was poor the man serving the food looked like he didn’t want to be there has soon has I left the shop I wish I didn’t even get food from them shop needs up dating sorry
I don't order from here enough, the times I have had been brilliant. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked perfectly in fresh oil and with fresh ingredients. The chips are some of the best chips I've ever had and are so morish you'll be knocking back an entire large portion without even noticing it. Pleasingly they also do smaller portions of battered fish which is good for those like me that tend to get a little overwhelmed by too much deep fried stuff, however, I would probably be totally fine with a large portion as the batter is so good and fresh.
This fish and chip shop is the best I have ever had. Mummy and Daddy that's what I call them as a sign of respect work incredibly hard! This shop has never had an off day in the sense the quality of the food is ALWAYS impeccable and hot! I haven't lived near the shop I used to live 30mins away or near the area for about 13 years now live in Bromley and when I get home the food is STILL hot! I have tried numerous other fish n chip shops around London. The other chip shop chips look sublime. I taste/eat it and they are bland despite copious amount of salt and vinegar being on them. I asked Mummy and Daddy why that was. They did tell me, but I'm not trying to downgrade other establishments. All i know is Corner Fish Bar! You are #1
