How long will the people who live on Popes quay cork city have to wait for someone to do their job and fix the traffic lights at the end of the street. The red light has not changed to green for 5 days and we are forced to drive through the red light, which causes a road hazard and may cause an accident. I hope that in the event of an accident, the City Hall will cover all the costs of the accident.
A very elegant building! Beautiful architecture! It was my first time in Cork and it surprised me that it has striking similarity to Dublin's Customs House:
Love it or hate it, it's the place where decisions are made at a political level, which in turn make and shape the City of Cork. It is hard not to be political and cynical when discussing City Hall. For now I will say that the architecture is synonymous with Cork City and should be seen by every visitor. I will probably return to this review when I gather my thoughts on how to describe what this place means to the average Corkonian.
They hold many events and social gatherings here. The photos show one of the events held here. There are several halls that can host large events or small events. The facilities are fantastic. You just need to contact a facilitator to arrange your event. You may need to book far in advance to secure your spot for the desired time of your event. It is wheelchair accessible and friendly. There are wheelchair accessible bathrooms. #accessible
This iconic building lights are good at night. The architecture is nice and as a City Hall, it is one of the main attractions in Cork City.
Kinsale bay food company had a stand at the cork and Kerry food forum the event was brilliantly originised all stands had good location the weather was very mild and dry and the good people of cork came out in their droves every one was in good form and the food flowed this was an excellent way of business to show case their goods and What an event it was. It went so so well every one was so pleased Thank you to all involved from kinsale bay food company.

They have actively removed public waste bins around cork city, so next time you stand on dog waste remember who's fault it is.
My Dad's Great-Grandparents & His Grandparents came over from Cork County Ireland over a Century ago. He did a Family Tree about 10 Yrs before He passed & He was Very Proud to look at Our Family History. The Gaelic pronunciation of Our last name is Ocolmain & My Dad was EXCITED to find out about Our Family History. Being an Irish-American, I am Very Proud of My Heritage. My Mother's Family are also from Ireland, But My Dad would joke about His side of the Family being more Special. I've looked up both the City of CORK & CORK COUNTY & found that it's a BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF IRISH COUNTRYSIDE that I can see why My Family BOTH SIDES have been Very Proud to call Their Homeland. The Language & the Picturesque land are outstanding & gorgeous.
Architecture delightful and aesthetically pleasing. Excellent for events and PR. However, in terms of quality of service. Well, let's start with the Planning Office. In terms of the planning decisions, I had the experience of a residential planning decision that was not in keeping with the council's own various policies and procedures. Felt quite disappointed with this. In terms of Housing Department, the same experience. Policy and procedures not implemented with regards to tenant anti social behaviour. In terms of Loans Department, same experience, policy and procedures for loans not adhered. Overall, perhaps it's just a reflection on the public sector or local government culture, but I feel it lacks a certain level of quality and integrity.
