They deserve your custom! We've been going to Bay 5 for nearly 5 years and have regularly enjoyed their bacon bloomers and hot chocolates. However, the afternoon tea served on novelty picnic tables is a real treat. We had enjoyed it a couple of years ago on Mother's Day, but this year the excellent staff really saved my bacon! Having mixed up the booking my mistake! and arrived two hours early, the excellent staff were able to accommodate myself, my pregnant wife and hungry toddler despite being really busy. They saved our Mother's Day! It's also a lovely spot and always delicious. A must for any visit to Barry Island!

Amazing service and my dayghter with coeliac disease absolutely loved the gluten free crepes. Would absolutely recommend and we'll definitely be back!
Food was OK but service was a bit lacklustre. They add 15% to the bill if you sit down apparently? But you still have to order at the till and pay before, as if it was takeaway? So yeah, we got restaurant charge for takeaway service... ‍Food: 4/5
This really is a gem. Firstly, hygiene is exellent, a must in my book. The staff are so kind and so helpful, we observed them clearing a table and offering it go a larger party so they were not crampt on a smaller table. The staff also moved things around to make it easier to pass. They are so considerate of others. Service is always with a smile. The staff welcomed us in and everyone else who came in. Tables can be reserved. A fantastic thank you as people leave encouraging them back. Now for the food. What a selection, the menu is large and extensive. Cakes, cream teas, crepes and pancakes are specialities and we tried 2 of these and were impressed. They also do sandwiches, toasties and more. There are an array of drinks too more than 5 kinds of hot chocolate. Coffee are extensive too as well as teas. They do decaf teas and coffee. The toilet is very clean. It's disabled friendly and has a cleaning chart on it. Seating is available inside and out with amazing views. Prices are reasonable and excellent value for money, the quality is excellent. If you want a cream tea though, you do need to book because that is special! So get planning. Next time you are in Barry make sure you visit. Genuine 5 star in all areas.
Delicious pancakes & Crepes, packed & well priced! Plenty of choice as with the coffee! Absouletly love this place with the awesome bonus of all of Whitmore bay Barry Island beach in front of you : Awesome cream tea's too & much more! Cannot recommend enough!
Awesome little place. We had afternoon tea. Those tiny pies yum. Friendly staff and great service. Love the mix and match chairs and the other small details. Will co.e again for sure.
It's the best place for my morning coffee but it's also great to catch a bite after a long dog walk. Highly recommended xxFood: 5/5
