We have used Copes for years, the fish is the best you can get in the area. Like any small business that wants to supply the best Copes happily will take orders and freshly cook lobsters which are always fantastic. The scallops are the best we have had outside Scotland, plump juicy and delicious. If you want quality go to Copes. S & J Royden
Couldn’t face getting up for Billingsate market so paid Copes a visit. Ordered Lobsters, Oysters and Octopus tentacles the day before. All delicious and fresh, and the lobsters feisty! Going to become a regular place for seafood shopping....
Fish is so fresh and great range...Razor Clams, Scorpion fish, fresh octopus... It's a pleasure to cook and eat this treasure. If you love seafood you will love Copes.
Opening time online reads 9:30 am their hand written sign outside the door reads 10:00. Although I got there at 11:00, they were not ready and asked me to give them another 30min to finish setting up. I get back at 12:00 NOON, and still..... Nothing was put out.... Not a great first impression. NEXT!!!
Wasted calories walking to this shop as it clearly stated they were open sundays. Waste of a trip and now my blood sugar is low which makes me binge eat while dieting
We try to go out sometimes, but the best fish in London is the one cooked by Copes!

this was an excellent shop but is now closed forever it looks like.. maybe a new owner will continue the activity , but certainly not the old ,fantastic, owners
