I recently purchased a VW Golf from Cooke’s Of Fakenham. Initially, the customer service was excellent when enquiring on the vehicle, up to the point of reservation. I was impressed with the service and therefore, decided to go ahead with the purchase. Annoyingly, following on from this, I had to do the chasing, I wasn’t called back when advised, it felt more like a case of ‘the sale has been done, so we aren’t interested now’. I’ve since contacted the dealership following a minor issue in which the mirror glass fell out just after delivery of the vehicle, so I had to replace this. I’m still yet to hear back regarding this. I did have a phone call yesterday from Cooke’s, however, this was to chase for something to be signed in order for the salesman to be able to receive their commission. I can’t help but comment that the aftercare seems poor. I initially dealt with Connor, however, he seemed to disappear and I never heard any more from him. What was initially a great experience has turned a little bit disappointing I must say.

We popped into Cookes of Fakenham on a cold wet Friday afternoon. Our first ever visit.nCustomer parking seemed to be in great demand, fortunately one of the Technicians directed us to a suitable space.nWe were greeted by Matt as soon as we entered the dealership.nEven though we said we were not buying anything just having a look around, Matt was friendly,informative and professional.nWe were interested in the T-Roc and Matt gave us the lowdown on what was available locally and within the Vindis group.nAfter a hot cuppa we left to have a good think with no pressure from Matt to commit!nAfter a week we went back again with a firm idea of what we required and Matt searched the VW computer system and offered us a choice of Cars that suited our requirements.nAfter some discussion we decided on a car from another Vindis showroom.nWe were guided through some documentation, the car was delivered to Fakenham and we took up ownership of our new car.nThe whole process from first contact was a very relaxed process in a friendly environment. Explanations were  given at each stage and our many questions answered thoroughly.nAll in all an exceptional experience.nMatt is a credit to the Vindis group.

I had a fantastic experience with Steve. He was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process of purchasing my Golf, making everything smooth and stress-free. Steve was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my choice. I couldn’t recommend him enough great service from start to finish

As promised just wanted to share my experience with Matt at Cookes of Fakenham for my journey to purchase my sexy new Mota i have wished for for many years! From the moment i walked into the showroom, talked through the Spec of the car, test drove never once did i feel pressurised into making a purchase which completely put me at ease to know it was the car for me : I will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family in the future, thanks again Matt!
