Connells is notoriously a bad company to deal with, over my years of property buying I have stayed well away from Connells as they are just unprofessional and adopt a hard sale technique which is not helpful. Recently I had the misfortune of dealing with the Connells in Leighton buzzard and I must say this was the icing on the cake. Talk about holding up a house sale. Firstly the agent was VERY late to the appointment, when she arrived she whipped us around the house. She did not have any information on the property and kept saying she will have to ask back in the office. Because I liked the property NOT because of connells I decided to buy. This was even more unprofessional, It took 3 days for my offer to be given to the vendor, I kept getting told that only 1 person at connells can put forward offers and she is never in the office. After the offer was accepted it was still kept on sale. This is so that people call up and ask for it and are then told "sorry the property is sold but if I can take some details ill find you a property" It took 3 weeks for the house to be taken off the market after my offer being accepted. I had 5 calls unreturned. I have now pulled out of the sale because of Connells. Stay away they are the worst estate agents around. Especially the leighton buzzard one. I personally know an ex employee who confirmed how bad it is.

Very happy that I chose Connells estate agents in Leighton Buzzard to market my house. It sold very quickly, but for various reasons the legal side of it dragged on and on. Throughout the several months of delays, it was obvious that the individuals at Connells were working hard on my behalf and they did a terrific job of keeping me informed as to the state of progress. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The team at this branch of Connells did a sterling job in steering the sale of my flat through. They overcame the difficulties of an extremely long chain and other unforeseen obstacles. The team were always welcoming, focused on meeting my needs and professional at all times.

When we sold our house we spoke to 3 agents and found it difficult to choose which one to go with. We didn't choose Connells largely down to price, but for months afterwards we were continually pestered by them even when we insisted that there was nothing they could do for us and asked them to leave us alone. I wish we have never made contact with them at all,
