I have been trying to arrange some viewings over recent weeks; both Daniel Barret and Daniel Tomkins have been handling my queries via email, telephone and in person. Both have been incredibly polite, well spoken and informative. I have been in touch with various agencies and Connells have, so far, been the most professional.
I've been to other branches of Connell's and have had a great experience . However today's experience was rather unpleasant. I went to visit a 2 bed property in Dunstable. I informed the agent i wasn't interested in a property with storage heaters. He insisted i visit as he informed me that the storage heaters could be used as a electric heaters. When i arrived I didn't particularly love the property, 1100 not near a station, storage heaters and no parking and condensation everywhere. The agent informed me that he had just got an offer and I better be quick. I informed him that's fine i don't tend to make impulsive decisions. Please let me know if there are any similar properties. The agent then became very annoyed that he's little game didn't work with me, he then started to rant that "what's the point of informing you of new properties if you can't make a simple choice, they will disappear, it's pointless" i was shocked at his outburst he then started huffing saying "fine" and throwing papers together, I left immediately feeling really uncomfortable.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Daniel and Jack in the Lettings team. I requested a viewing through email on zoopla and Jack called me the next morning and arranged the viewing the same day. Daniel advised us every step of the way, answered all of our questions and went out of his way to keep us updated throughout the process. The service was outstanding from start to finish and I would confidently recommend using Connells. I would definitely use them again.
I AM ONLY GIVING 5 STARS SO THE REVIEW DOESNT GET BURIED The worst estate agents ever, I wish I could give a zero star. Lee from Dunstable Connells handled our purchase like a cowboy. As first time buyers we were eager so had our funds ready, however Connells kept us ill informed and lied for 7 months about our purchase. We made an offer in July 2021 and finally completed in May 2022, this was ultimately down to a complicated chain, however we were not told about this chain when we first offered and Lee knew we would be waiting for months. At first he connived with the vendor to make it seem like we were waiting for her boiler to be serviced which took 3 months due to gas works then it was she didn't have enough money to buy so she cant exchange yet. Lee lied to us like we were toddlers but we had no choice but to believe him. Luckily another agent from the upper chain contacted us and we were finally able to complete after 10 months. Even the solicitors they recommended premier properties were absolute trash. They didnt have the full information and gave us over 5 completion dates which turned out to be wrong. No one knew what they were doing and we were severely messed about. Please avoid doing business with this company
Lee and his team are very professional, helpful and friendly. They guided me through every stage of my purchase with ease. I can highly recommend this branch of Connells. Thank you for getting me to where I needed to be and on time. Rich.
