First visit. Struggled to find it from Google maps. just follow the brown leasure signs. It’s a lovely paddling pool for kids. Free entry with free parking next to it. Safe enclosed premises with toilet facilities available. Lots of seating around the pool for adults or sit on the grass bank for a picnic. 100% recommended
So had to queue for 30 minutes before gaining entry. Whilst waiting with my 5 year old grandson there were a lot of older children in with their siblings, despite parents also in attendance on the sidelines. Totally unfair as they were taking up valuable spaces when the pool clearly had many spaces available. Also, picnics were had by all despite advertising this was not allowed, as were inflatables, balls and other games which were 'not' allowed. When I questioned the attendant he said was nothing to do with him - seriously???? What the hell is the point when the attendant does NOT enforce pool rules. Pretty useless Cheshire East!!!!
All you have to do is book online via congleton town council and you get a 3 hour slot.nnIt's about 60' in diameter and at its deepest it's just under knee deep to an adult, it's clean and safe for the kids. Best part, it's free.nnThere are no refreshments on site, you can bring your own though.nnThe only amenities on site are a toilet and some bins and 7 benches, there is space to lay out a towel and lounge in the sun though.
BRILLIANT PLACE OUR GRANDSON LOVED IT KIDS COMING AND GOING HE HAD LOADS FUN PLAYING OTHER KIDS PARK IS JUST ROUND CORNER SO AFTER WE TOOK HIM IN THERE HAD LOVELY PICNIC HE PLAYED ON PARK RIDES.
Returned here today for first time in years. As promised, I'm leaving a positive review. Pool was clean and enjoyable. It was busy but it would have been way busier if not for booking system.nWe managed to book for our group without difficulty.nThe staff there were helpful and friendly.nParking is a little tricky...nBut we eventually found spaces. It's free and we're grateful.
