Always fantastic customer service and clotheing from the Southwold shop. Who needs London when you have Collen & Clare. I should really ask the names of the staff that take such good care of me so I can pass on my compliments. I do remember Phoebe though from the sale at the arts centre, she was a delight, as were all the team that night. Will be seeing you soon, have no doubt!

Terrible service and an unbelievably rude store Manager today in Aldeburgh. As a loyal customer from the area I was shocked and infuriated. I spent an hour with shop staff 10 days ago locating a pair of shoes, pre-paying for them and getting them sent to the store. I return from holiday today to collect them and they are wrong, even though they've been sitting in the store for over a week and no one thought to check them. The manager was not even slightly apologetic and instead made excuse after excuse, not accepting any responsibility. A pair were located in the warehouse (my pair - the pair I'd already paid for), and after explaining that I move to Australia on Tuesday morning, the manager still made no attempt to try and get these to the store for tomorrow, considering this is about 40 minutes away. When I said I'd be happy to go there myself if I can pick them up tomorrow when they reopen, or I can pay for the courier to instead come directly to my house considering I've already paid for the shoes, she raised her voice at me, a customer, making me feel like I had done wrong, to say hadn't I been listening, I've told you there's nothing I can do. The possibility of resolving their error was not even explored so I had to accept a refund for the shoes and also felt too upset and uncomfortable to stay in the store to buy the two other items of clothing I'd picked out 10 days ago as well. As a Buying and Merchandising Manager for a very successful brand in London (we've actually had previous discussions with C&C about stocking us), I am very aware of how appalling this level of customer service and how easily this could have been resolved - as a result I will not be shopping here again.

This Boutique has got to be the bezt in East Anglia with fantastic labels such as Joseph, Ugg, Anya Hindmarch, Farhi, Chloe and more! The staff are suer friendly and always helpful and you're only a stones throw away from the gorgeous beach and some great pubs and restaurants.
