Called for coffee and cake before starting our walk. What a fabulous place!! Loads of outdoor seating in a lovely setting. Indoors is smaller but just as lovely and cosy. It'll be gorgeous during colder weather when the stove is on!! But today was just glorious! Some nice smaller 'gifts' etc can be bought here as well. We were met with a lovely welcome from the lady serving! In fact they were all lovely, bubbly and friendly! Like meeting up with old friends. Even the dogs were met with a treat and a snuggle! We chose latte, flat white and two pieces of carrot cake. This was not your normal carrot cake - this was way above normal! SO moist it was untrue! And it only came to £14!!! GF and vegan friendly. Fabulous place to start a walk around St Abbs Head which is just stunning!!! Also a very easy walk down the gorgeous village. Would I recommend visiting - without hesitation!
Great community venture. Friendly staff. Shame they don't serve eggs with the bacon for breakfast. Gluten free bacon and tomato roll was delicious. Idyllic peaceful location if not too busy. Lovely to watch the swifts. Been coming for years for the crab sandwiches. Pity they are no longer on the menu. Gluten free cakes are a bonus.Food: 5/5
Friendly service and the home made scone, jam and cream were AMAZING. As were the hot chocolates.
Absolutely fantastic and very needed place. Their delicious coffee, tea, soup and toasties safed me more than once. After a few hours on beautiful but windy St Abbs cliffs there is nothing more important than a warm meal and a hot drink before the drive back home.Food: 5/5
A real gem of a place! Not only do they have lovely original pottery but also a fantastic cafe with the loveliest cakes. Perfect for a stop before and after a walk around St Abbs. Check opening times as at the moment it's Thursday -Sunday but we'll worth a visit and a lovely owner too! Thank you
Went for coffee and scones. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. We sat by a lovely warm wood burning stove. I had a cherry scone whilst my husband had a cheese one. They were both really light and moist - so difficult to find a decent scone! Coffee was also good and really hit the spot. There was also some beautiful ceramics on display. Can really recommend. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free options
Home of the most fantastic lemon drizzle cake : Cosy café, good food & coffee and friendly staff.
I am lucky enough to attend pottery classes here. I just have the best time and Katie is a brilliant teacher. I’ve also been in for coffee & cake. The coffee is lovely and the cake delicious. This is well worth a visit.
Had a lovely trip up the coast, great spot for tea and scones! - especially the cheese ones according to my son! Got a lovely present for my friend too, beautiful ceramic bowl, lovely lovely.
A lovely little cafe with fantastic coffee, delicious cakes and a very warm welcome! Pottery is amazing too, well worth a look
