Nice quite beach for a long walk. Really enjoyed the views and walking on pebbles. Also has decent car park which is always a bonus. The beach is quite steap at places so not ideal leaving little kids alone. There is also a little pond around on the other side of the beach. Will definitely visit again.
Really nice and clean pebble beach we came on a very windy day. Toilets were clean and there was a nice van selling snacks and hot drinks. Car park was small but free.
I heard your voice in the wind today and I turned to see your face; The warmth of the wind caressed me as I stood silently in place. I felt your touch in the sun today as its warmth filled the sky; I closed my eyes for your embrace and my spirit soared high. I saw your eyes in the window pane as I watched the falling rain; It seemed as each raindrop fell it quietly said your name. I held you close in my heart today it made me feel complete; You may have died…but you are not gone you will always be a part of me.
Free parking spot better than £6 a day around the corner but not as much to do. This is a perfect place if you want somewhere quiet by the sea to enjoy a view. If the sea is out and you feel safe and brave enough to walk down for the pleasure of sand then take a steady walk down the pebbles please take caution they move and roll if your looking for a short way down although I'm sure there is a safer way down. When there it seemed like people had been out painting rocks and the evidence was clear in parts. All in all a good quiet spot to relax for a moment.
This is my go to place. Very quiet, nice cafes if needed. Toilets clean and tidy. Love it here.
We enjoyed our time there. It was very peaceful and quiet. Plenty of places to park the car. There was a nice little café there as well in horsebox it was very quiche. The only problem we came across was getting down to the beach. it would do the council well if they build a ramp, so that people could get access down the slopes. It is a good place to go canoeing and swimming.
Beautiful beach, popular, but not for the masses, just people who want to chill and enjoy the sound of the water against the pebbles.
Went around 2pm. Plenty of parking available. Gates to most of the parking shut at 8pm and toilets locked after 7pm. Lovely wide open space, plenty of space to distance from others respectfully. Really clean, tidy stone beach. Love time, will return again.

Cold Knap pebble beach is accessible with plentiful parking from the Knap Gardens and simple access from Marine Drive; it's ideal for walking with friends and family as well as walking with pets, it's recommended to walk along the beach but appropriate footwear is advisable due to the pebbles. It's recommended to visit Cold Knap pebble beach, whether on a summer's day, windy or during thunderstorms; sitting in the car looking beyond pebble beach can be picturesque, especially with various aircraft flying over pebble beach heading into Cardiff Airport.
