Pool water is actually warm which is nice. The health sweat is nice could do with a little update but nice enough. Only down side make sure you have money for lockers and the front desk is cashless. Staff are friendly as well
I've been treated appalingly by this leisure center. My direct debit failed last year. There was a debt. I wanted to pay the 28 pound debt and re join. I was told that the debt would be written off seen as though I was re joining. There was a problem with the tablet and it wouldn't allow the debt to be written off or let me pay it either. So the staff member asked if I have another email address. I used that one to re join. Months go by and I pay for some pt sessions. I became unwell. And my direct debit failed. I asked if I could use the payment for the pt sessions to be used for the unpaid direct debit. But 2 weeks later, I had a £40 admin charge applied. I paid the admin charge, I also paid the failed direct debit. Now though, I can't have either a refund or use my pt sessions that I paid for because there is outstanding debt on another account. They are basically calling me a liar, saying that the staff member wouldn't offer this. Ok. So now I ask, can I have the refund minus the 28 pounds? Now it's a no, because you've asked for it to be used to clear the debt. But you didn't do that did you, leisure center??? Because if you had, I wouldn't have had an admin charge would I???? They refuse to speak to me on the phone, despite me repeatedly asking for a call back, refuse to escalate to a manager. I would just like to talk to someone and get my money back, emailing back and forth doesn't work!!! They are a waste of time and effort. The service is disgusting and they must do better!!!
Local leisure facility with ample parking. Changing rooms have recently been refurbished. Nice health suite.
Badminton courts have lighting than can be cause shuttlecock to be "lost", otherwise the facilities are good.
This is so much better than it used to be when it was run by the council. The changing facilities have been refurbished into a "changing village " which has made all the difference, friendly staff and free parking, I have just joined with a swim membership which is good value.
Absolute joke of a booking system. Even with a membership, you have to book a day in advance with very limited options just for lane swimming, even if it it totally silent in the lanes. Lane sessions never available for anytime past 2 on weekdays. Gym is the only redeeming quality

Did my first Aquafit class today. Disappointed that the 'instructor' never introduced himself, didn't ask if it was anyone's first time... Just turned on fast loud music and leapt around on the poolside expecting everyone to follow. I'm 72 years old could barely do that routine on land let alone in the water! I'm a non-swimmer and can barely take my feet off the bottom! My fault for not checking the level first I guess....
Trying to get hold of someone via telephone is a waste of time. I would like to know is it still OK to use the pool without a printed copy of your ticket. I have the ticket on my phone. Not everybody has access to a computer & printer & had I known this before booking online I wouldn't have bothered.
Reminds me of the Brittas Empire. New changing room showers stinks. Wellness suites only opens when they can be bothered to.
