Yum. Need to come back and try more off the brunch menu. So far, seems like you can’t go wrong no matter the order. It’s a small place so I imagine getting a table is the hardest part about this lovely cafe.
We had a very nice breakfast here. Great service, interesting dishes and something just a little different to the usual offering. It’s very popular so go early or be prepared to wait! Excellent selection of cakes to go with your coffee too!
Lovely café in Leamington Spa. Cakes look amazing. Nice atmosphere, maybe a little difficult for wheel/push chairs.
Everything was great and delicious! One of the best brunch I've ever eaten. We had to wait some minutes to take a table because we went on saturday and it was bussy, but it was completely worth it.
Extremely grammable, however that's not something that I really care about, I feel as though it may slightly impact the food also. Visually café is very pleasing and cosy. Now the food: I had French toast made with soya milk, which was impressive.once again, visually the food is very impressive, however it was lacking a bit in flavour. Lychee leaves were left on the fruit, as well as the strawberry leaves. This definitely adds to the visual appeal, it adds some more colours otherwise absent from the palette notably green however, having to remove the strawberry leaves is an extra step. it personally doesn't bother me much, but I think it has the potential to it would really bring it to the next level if they could add these colours in another way. Another unusual addition was the mango, which I was not expecting, however it turns out to go quite well with the dish. The lychee however is redundant I feel, orange colour is already present from the mango, and the almost disinfectant flavour of the lychee does not do any favours. The French toast itself was lacking in flavour also, not sweet either however this is remedied by the very nice maple syrup but it still could do with some spices, cinnamon, nutmeg etc. And I would prefer it if it was a bit crunchy, otherwise the whole dish is a tad soft. There is stiff competition in the brunch scene in leam, so if CA can put just a little bit of extra wow in the dishes I really think it would be fantastic.
Amazing place. It is usually fairly busy a good sign! so be prepared to queue in peak hours - however I assure you that it's worth the wait. The drinks are of a high standard, and the food is excellent with a rotating menu I recommend the Eggs Benedict for a brunch. As a side note, the staff are also all excellent, and are more than happy to assist if required.
Fabulous coffee, fresh, creative, delicious food, friendly service, great ambience - brilliant! Can get very busy, with a queue outside the door, but it's worth the wait, I promise!
Honestly guys, do yourself a favour and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Expect to wait for 10 minutes just to be seated while there are at least 3 empty tables inside without a reservation. After you are seated, you will wait 7 minutes for drinks, after 15-20 minutes they will come take your food order. Their incompetence will be “excused” by the argument that they prepare fresh food every day, therefore your avodaco toast with beans and eggs “cooking” time of at MOST 15 minutes will take more than 40 minutes one star in this review because at least they tell you and you can stand up and leave at this point... The place looks hipster. The food is pretty good I have visited this place 2x before but it is for sure not worth the wait. Their cakes are nice but again, not worth the horrible customer experience. It only has good reviews because local students think it’s cool to go there to take their instagram picture but in fact it is painful the watch how unorganized the staff are. The number of staff is so disproportional to the waiting times. The place isn’t too clean either and they don’t have menus, only a stupid white paper on the wall with 6-7 hand written meals and you won’t be able to read half of the ingredients because the handwriting is horrible. This place has great potential but it seriously lacks good management. At this point in time, it is a mess and I for sure won’t be returning.
Very good food, friendly staff but the place itself is too small. Nevertheless, it made my warwick uni life : I recommend the eggs Benedict or avacado smash; big portions, I can never finish it!!
The food is AMAZING in here. Really unique and great menu. I had the avocado on toast with homemade baked beans and fried halloumi. It was large but soooooo good. There was an option to make it smaller if wanted. My friend had the banana loaf with fruit, yoghurt and syrup which she also loved. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The coffee as expected was also top notch.
