One word.....delicious! Live round the corner and tried this fish abd chips when my family were visiting from Manchester for the bank holiday. We loved it, generous portions and freshly cooked. Proper chips! Also the owner clearly cares about what he is serving to customers. I'll be back!
I spent 9 days in London and my only plan was to eat as much fish and chips as I could in that time. Codfather had the best fish i encountered across London the service was super friendly and the prices were good. For my personal taste I would have liked slighly crispier chips but these were still delicious. I ended up coming here twice on the trip and trying the fish and chips, battered sausage and a chp buttie.
Flawless Fish & Chips - perfectly cooked large fish, batter not too greasy, chips tasted fresh and crispy. To top it off, the staff are polite and friendly.Recommended dishesFish and Chips
What a surprise! This delightful fish & chip shop is a catch ! On entrance it is clean and inviting. The staff greet you with a warm smile and a hello. I ordered my cod and chips x2 with mushy peas and I must say it was delicious! The cod was tasty with a crunchy batter. The chips not all greasy . It was serviced up in no time even though it was busy. Anytime I am in Ealing or en-route I will stop of at the Codfather.
I have been looking for a decent chips cheese & curry sauce in London, after moving from Scotland where it's not hard to find. This is the closest I have found so far and it was great!
This place has the nicest, genuine, polite and helpful staff. Had a right mess with Ubereats and they helped me sort out a long awaited dinner! 1000% recommend! Vegetarian options: There's a good variety of options Kid-friendliness: The staff are wonderful and they have kids options! Parking: Parking right outside Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair ramp with the shop so easily accessible
Use to be very good! Gone downhill unfortunately! Plus the female owner is very rude and disrespectful! With all do respect, I think, she is a bit delusional and very arrogant! Don’t get me wrong! The staff there are very good! Codfather got big very quickly and then they got a bit cocky! They’re not so cocky now and they know it! Don’t worry! I’m anticipating some rude feedback from her very shortly! You’ll understand when she reply’s to my comment! They still owe me money but they can keep it!
Food was amazing as always. I ordered from here a but from delivery apps but the workers there are so nice! Great chat and lovely people! They also recommended fried battered mars bars which chef Joseph made, amazing food all round from hash browns all the way to kebabs, burgers and mars bars!
I only had takeaway chips but they were real chips and good chips. Fish was being cooked to order. I'll be back to try fish and chipsFood: 5/5
First time here… jay was very polite and welcoming, me and my sister didn’t have to wait long for our food, best fish and chips Iv had! If you want tasty chips that are not dry then this is the place…Will defo be visiting again! Thank you!!
