These gardens are fantastic. Set on the edge of the Bowland fells with views over the surrounding countryside the owners have created a wonderful garden here and the care and love shows through. We went to see the snowdrops which are varied and lovely but throughout the season this would be a lovely garden to visit and spend time in. You can walk to their bird hide and see the lapwing too.

Fabulous place. Garden superb. Playbarn is great for children with lots to do and split into separate areas to suit different age groups. Opportunity to bottle feed calves, hold baby pygmy goat and take a goat for a walk on a lead was wonderful and gave 45 minutes of enjoyment to our little grandson. Food in the cafe simple but good quality, variety to suit most and great value. All in all an excellent experience we are keen to repeat.

My mum and I were extremely disappointed with the gardens. We had come especially to see the phlox, which, on the website states that Cobble Hey is aiming for National Collection status and only stayed 20 minutes. The gardens were untidy due to the weather, as pointed out by staff at the tearoom. They also informed us that the owners were away and they were not trusted to do anything in the gardens. The plants that were up for sale were pathetic and we could not distinguish them from weeds. The £9.50 we paid for entrance would have been better spent at the garden centre we ended up at and where we purchased six new phlox.

Beautiful place, seriously stunning views. We had a lovely time looking round the gardens, feeding animals, walking goats and eating some nice food. Plus my 2 year old found lots to do with the several different play areas available including a play barn. Very nice day out.
