Visit all four seasons. Highly recommended. It is one of the areas I visit often as it is not difficult to get to by using A3 from my area. The photo uploaded this time was taken during a visit on October 2023. It is a town suitable for walking 10,000 steps. Shere is a small village in the Guildford district of Surrey, England, less than five miles southeast of Guildford and west of Dorking. The county of Surrey is just south of London and includes the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated on the River Tillingbourne, it is a small, partly agricultural village situated mainly in the wooded Holmesdale valley between the North Downs and Greensand Ridge. The village is less than 35 miles from central London and is easily accessible by car or train. By car the easiest street is accessible from the north and west from A3 at the West Clandon. By rail, from London Victoria you can take the Southern train to Dorking Station and then catch bus 32 to Shere Village Hall.
Love this store. Great customer service. It actually is a LOT bigger than when I first saw it from the outside. They have everything from fruit, veggies, wine, beer, meat, dinner ideas, pasta… Great job team. Taking a walk in the Shire is always a good idea!
Very friendly and helpful customer service from a lady on Saturday. Helped me pick a good pizza. Was a good pizza. I finished all of it including the crusts. The cooking instructions were clear and accurate.
Brilliant shop. Wide variety of goods, excellent pizzas and prepared meals, good range of booze, newspapers, greetings cards, warm bread and rolls. All good value for money, good ethic and mostly good for animals and good for the planet. Plus post office. I wish I lived nearby.
The shop was refitted recently so they have much more choice. Freshly baked bread daily. Post office facilities including cash withdrawals. Extremely convenient store for the area.
Friendly staff, great prices, some items low on stock but this is the same for many Co-ops at the moment. Great local store
A delightful shop with a wide range of tempting goods including beautifully fresh fruit and vegetables, and special offers that are really competitive including wine and beer, pet food, delicious pizzas and ready meals. Take a look.
It's a co-op, has a bakery, frozen food, newspapers and booze. Handy store, street parking an issue unless you park on the village car park 2 minutes walk away.
New year day coming here for have a walk in shere. We came this shop to buy some crisps. But the label is different with the till price. A man served me with very rude attitude. I asked him if you can check the price of the lables. He said No!
