Stopped here for diesel and was pleasantly surprised at price. Really nice forecourt and plenty parking around it also. Store had plenty of choice in it and is quite the size as looks small actually from outside. It’s clean and modern inside also. Prices in store also aren’t bad so well worth a stop!
Has a public toilet and waiting times on the till have improved. Fuel very competitively priced.
Queued for ages to drop off Inpost parcel lockers outside were full. Staff member repeatedly tried to scan it with a collect+ handset, completely ignoring me trying to point out that it was an inpost parcel, just blanked me. Didn't ask any other staff for help, or look for any solution, didn't say much at all really. Gave up, won't be going back.
They dont sell premium unleaded, only 95 RON.
Worst co op in the area, staff always too busy talking among themselves rather than serving the enormous queues. Rude and unfriendly. Customers always seem like a huge inconvenience for them. Multiple times they’re slagging off other customers whilst serving others-one in particular is very loud about this. Never able to just ‘nip in’ and pay for fuel-it’s always a 15/20 minute ordeal waiting to be served. Everything is overpriced and disorganised. So many staff on shop floor you can barely get down the isles yet seems to be a lack of staff where they’re actually needed. Management needs to scrub up on basic standards for their staff. This would be totally unacceptable in any other retail environment. I would rather go the extra distance to Belper or Matlock for fuel or better yet, Ken’s down the road for groceries. I’d like to add -its never any of the younger staff that have these issues, they’re the only ones who make an effort so props to them
