My daughter received terrible service when she attempted to ask Roan, store manager at Co-op on Lothian Road, for help finding a product, she was ignored and I sent in a complaint. It was later revealed that Roan, a store manager with this company was too busy playing Pokemon on his phone to pay attention to customers. Roan now posts five star reviews of other Co-op stores in Edinburgh. Despite complaining about the five star reviews he leaves as a conflict of interest Co-op do nothing. While they allow their own staff members and managers to manipulate their ratings I cannot recommend any Co-op store, especially after the appalling service my daughter received.

Compact supermarket trying to squeeze in a little bit of everything you may need. Usually a small queue.

Just been to the co op and served by a fantastic friendly member of staff with a great customer service- didn't get her name but she recommended the Christmas pud in the sale
