Miserable Staff, Team leader at front was especially incompetent and rude. Carol was it? Not courteous, not helpful, not polite not nothing. Should be retired already, customer service role with no service skills? Do your job or leave. Pathetic
Went in my local coop for first time in a while. Bought a few things including tomatoes. First the tomatoes were priced on display as £1.05 cashier charged £1.10 and when I got them home half had to be thrown away as already going furry we only live 5 mins away Never going in there again
Their online Delivery service is a joke every time I order they never have half the products they advise on the apps on top of that they like to reject your order then you have to wait 5 days to get your funds back which is just terrible not everyone has money to waste. Think about the elderly the sick and mother's and dad's who have young children. Co op downham do better *thumps down *
Helpless staff at self checkout. Made me wait to answer the query.
Not always well stocked, some staff such as Adam are lovely but a few are a bit rude. Its generally not well stocked and unfortunately every time I order through deliveroo, they always either cancel the order due to no stock or forget to put items in. It's okay but it could be better.
Nice place with cheap drinks and coffee
Good parking and dedicated staff. My only criticisms are that Co op is expensive nowadays, and they have introduced the self service tills. To give them their due, the staff are watchful and if they see you shopping with a trolley, they'll be happy to open a conveyor belt style checkout when you're ready to pay, but apart from that it's the cigarette kiosk or the self service tills. I don't do self service, so it can take a while to get to pay.
I don't come in here often, but when I do, it's an alright experience. the store is medium sized, and has a bit of everything from all departments, as you would expect from most stores. The staff in particular on checkouts are approachable, overall an okay store.
Probably more expensive than marks and Spencer. 4 self service machines and never seen them all working at the same time. Staff are friendly and help with what you need whenever you need it though. Stil shop here cause its convenient.
Why is it that every co-op is overpriced compared to other places? Lidl and Iceland are not too far from here and I for one would highly recommend a u-turn to either one of those places which is what we did. As with other co-ops, staff here also allow anyone to enter the store without masks who presumably give them the "I'm exempt" excuse. Last thing, there was a flower in a broken glass vase being sold at a discounted price which is on the floor and was easily accessible by children. Money over safety it seems.
