Not impressed with the food choices at the café, especially hot food, or the price of the food. Cutlery was not readily available to self serve, but then we had to ask for some cutlery when our food was brought out. There was a bit of a mix up with our order as our original choice was not available, but instead of just adding in our replacement choice the server scrapped order one and messed up the second order meaning that I needed to go to the counter three times to sort things out. The quality of the food served wasn't great either. Overall, we will visit Clumber Park again but not the cafe.
Lovely place for a walk then a rewarding coffee and scone to follow. Always seems busy at weekends, have visited in the week and found it a little quieter. Nice cream scone and coffee, sat outside in the sun as busy.Recommended dishesCoffee and Cake, Scone
Nothing good at all to say , it started with the staff that didn’t seem to know what they were doing , we even repeated our order to them on ordering as we weren’t confident in them getting the order correct ……..and guess what ? It wasn’t , we ordered 4 meals which 1 came out in reasonable time but the others we waited another 25 minutes to come out and even after that I had to go and ask where the food was !! Half the order was correct but that was it , as for the quality it was shocking , wouldn’t recommend
Came during a busy hour as it was lunchtime, but was served relatively quickly. As with comments pricing is a bit of an issue, but this is The National Trust, so don’t expect anything to be cheap. The food and coffee is lovely, I especially liked the potato wedges, they had a home made feel to them and went very well with my sausage roll. My fiancé had a baked potato with cheese and beans and he enjoyed that too. We also had a scone and flapjack, however I wasn’t told that when I collected the coffee, I had to wait there to also grab the scone and flapjack. However a kind member of staff sorted that out for us. It’s a lovely environment to sit and watch the world go by in too.
Not verry nice cheese & onion pasty with wedges that were just about cooked which I would have eaten if it wasn't for the horrible ketchup I put all over them from a Heinz bottle which wasn't Heinz totally cheap disgusting catering sauce. "Capachino" small amount of luke warm coffee rest was froth. £ 9.80 worth of garbage.
With over 20 miles of cycle paths, it's a great way of seeing and enjoying this National Trust Property. If you don't need to make use of the NT Car Parks it doesn't cost anything either Free parking if you are a NT member.
Had a nice relaxing lunch here. There was a great range of sandwiches, cakes, hot meals and drinks. There's plenty of seating and the cafe is clean and well kept.
A beautiful site with a large, varied and interesting set of walks to choose from. The main walk around the lake for the most part had a well kept path witch made taking in the scenery easier. We had food at the café which was canteen style, the food and drink was pretty good, and I appreciated the lack of plastic drinks bottles.
I would like to offer a name change to Swan Park I have never seen more swans in one place!!! The following pictures are on the same day taken at the same time apart from the last one that was nice showing lots of swans in a row. What a great place to go also for a picnic
Only had a coffee and snack. Snack very good but waiting for a coffee took forever. Restaurant/cafe large and functional with no real atmosphere. Tables cleared and cleaned regularly znd often.Food: 4/5
