First time of visiting been past it many times so finally got round to going in. Butchers looked good bought a couple of sausage rolls which i hope taste as good as they look . Sells fresh fruit and veg, chutneys, jams ,eggs , frozen goods etc. Has a large spacious cafe , staff were friendly and helpful i asked if i could have a ham salad sarnie as most of them had cheese and i don't like cheese and they did it for me Wasn't too busy got straight in ,not a dirty table insight all cleared and wiped.
Called in today for the first time with my wife for lunch, first impressions were good, entrance to the cafe is through the farm shop. We had a short wait while we waited to be seated by a uniformed member of staff who showed us to a table. The cafe has a rustic feel with a stylish suspended ceiling with lighting. The menu was extensive and covered the majority of meals for all tastes. The food was excellent and well presented. Toilets are modern and clean, also included are wheelchair and baby changing facilities, high chairs are available. The cafe and shop are wheelchair friendly. The shop stocks a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, cakes etc. Small gifts are also on offer. Free car parking.
Nice place but the food came way toooooo slow. Waited for an hour for some English breakfast. Ridiculous. Do not recommend if you don’t have a whole day to waste…
We ate here for the first time today. There was a wait for the food as they were short staffed in the kitchen. All staff were relaxed, helpful and very friendly even though they were under pressure. There's good food choice and all our meals were generous sizes and great quality. Enjoyed a potter round the farm shop afterwards. Lovely cafe with great countryside views through huge windows. We will definately be back soon. Thanks
For the life of me I am unsure as to where the previous reviewer ate. My family and I are regulars at arrow farm and have always found the food to be of the highest quality and the staff to be most accommodating and friendly. As for the reduced menu due to staff shortages there is a varied selection of at least 6 mains to choose from as well as a number of lighter bites.
A great establishment. Restaurant and farm shop, what's not to like. I have given it 4 stars as its a bit pricey however I fully understand in this economic climate that prices are rising! The quality of food is extremely good in the farm shop and I would like to think that they'd use some of the produce in the restaurant but it's doubtful when it comes to the meat I feel. Had a lovely Sunday roast dinner, quite tasty and portions good with a not too bad a price. It is table waiting service. Available seating and the venue is lovely. They were short on staff but the wait wasn't too long thankfully. Plenty of parking with disabled ramp up to the shop for wheelchairs. We'll thought out layout of the shop and restaurant for the less able bodied. Staff are lovely and accommodating.
Terrible. Most of the kitchen staff weren't in and they had a limited menu. Only 3 mains were available so we all had the lasagne. It was awful. The quantity of herbs was so overpowering that we couldn't eat it. All you could taste were the herbs. For that price, I expected far better. Certainly more than some lasagne, a rather small salad and some garlic bread. When we complained to the manager, she was very dismissive. She reduced the bill slightly but insisted that what we were saying couldn't be right. It's now an hour later and both my daughter and I are sat on the sofa at home feeling ill. We won't be going back.
Lovely! Afternoon tea with a good friend, time to sit, chat and not be rushed out. Afternoon tea was lovely, had the traditional one as opposed to the savoury one and very nice it was.plus a great shop to tempt you to buy
We ate lunch in the cafe, all day breakfast was not the best, luke warm pappy sausages, dried up baked beans, egg undercooked, rock hard tomato that had hardly seen the grill. My granddaughters cake and hot chocolate looked delicious, though, and service was quick and friendly.
The cafe is beautiful. The food is outstanding and the staff are so efficient and friendly and made our experience so enjoyable. The farm shop is reasonably priced and the range of food is extensive.
