Having visited recently as a large party i was disappointed with the restaurants training and attitude towards guests with allergens problems. We ordered all dishes well in advance of the evening because of our party size. Two guests were gluten intolerant but staff gave false information on the dishes chosen when asked. Starter was soup...was told it wasn't gluten free after 1 guest had eaten it...main course i chose was oriental duck with rice that came as duck with potatoes and vegetables (no mention whether it was gluten free) and dessert menu was told the 4 choices on bottom of menu were gluten free (including treacle sponge....so presume it to be correct) when served was then told it wasn't!!! Can't blame the staff when they so obviously have never had training in dealing with food intolerance. May i make a suggestion...have an allergens menu seperate from main menu giving easier choice Food and portions were well presented and generous but won't be visiting again, sorry.

Held my golden wedding party at the restaurant last night. The service and quality of food was excellent. Well done and thank you.
