Great little place, and cloudwater beer is the best, but it needs more seating. If the owner happens to read this review, I have a suggestion. Demolish the little stage to the right of the toilets, put a staircase there and build a seating area on top of the toilet block. Remove all the stuff stored there, create a little railing around the edge and it would be a lovely seating area with plenty of head room above!
Could not be faulted. Terrific choice of beers on offer with friendly, knowledgeable staff who were attentive and went the extra mile. Great to be able to sample cloudwater while not in Manchester.
Even on a busy Friday night the bartender helped me find a delicious beer. The brewery, beer, and staff are all 5 stars!!
I absolutely love it here. Its my husband and I's favourite tap room. Not only are their beers amazing, with a huge variety, but the staff are so friendly and welcoming and make you feel so relaxed. Always a great atmosphere everyday of the week and always greeted by a smile. We really recommend here and they love dogs, so my Frank loves coming here. :
Great craft beer pub with excellent selection on tap and in the fridge.
Absolutely shocking way of handling people going in and out of the place. Our friends left the brewery for a few minutes while we were getting their drinks and were prevented from going back in by the bouncer who was completely unreasonable and even became physical for absolutely no reasons. The beer is great but unfortunately I will never come back.
Beware of the female bouncer at this place - she is totally unreasonable and unhinged. She was incredibly rude to my friends who were waiting to join a group standing just inside the doorway, and she physically pushed them away from the entrance, despite the fact that my friends they were completely sober and the bar was not even that full. Such a shame because the vibe in the bar would have been great if it wasn’t the psychopath at the door.
There's always a fantastic beer selection, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and the atmosphere/design style is great. I love coming here for a relaxing evening beer, but it's also a must on the Bermondsey Beer Mile. Just be careful if you look in the takeaway fridges, you could easily spend £££!
Top brewery taproom in London. Cloudwater is a gift to us all. Amazing tap list featuring hard to get guest craft. A must hit spot on the Bermondsey beer mile.
The staff are amazing; Chelsea and Dom are absolutel diamonds, you've got to give them a raise or bonus something...Great chat, very helpful, made my experience perfect Great beers -HUGE selection- from sours and ESB's to triple IPA and session Helles, they've got it all. Fantastic vibe, service is impeccable, chill seating etc It can get very busy at peak times, but bear with them, it's worth the wait! If you can't handle busy, go when it's quiet ‍
