"Warm and welcoming, The Clive Arms is the oldest Pub in Penarth dating back to atleast 1866. It is unique amongst the Victorian pubs of Cardiff as it is mid-terrace and not on a street corner as the other pubs are. The pub is situated on the Cardiff Bay side of Penarth, close to both the Marina and Penarth Town Centre. The pub is named after the local landowners, the Clive family, and their coat of arms is featured on our pub sign. It has had some slight renovations and redecorations over the years, however we have tried our best to maintain the originality of the pub. We have a small outdoor seating area, pool table and juke box. Our staff and locals are friendly and our prices are reasonable."

Lovely little back street pub where Karen and Steve shared a baileys over ice Recommended
Proper locals bar,we were a bit hesitant to go in at 1st but we couldn't have been made more welcome,great bunch of friendly locals who made our night,what a laugh,cheap drinks as well.

The place needs pulling down we were playing skittles not enough room in the alley to throw the balls let alone sit upstairs is like a black hole you can't see anything and it's so cold we had icicles x
