Great place to visit. Loads to see and explore. Of course the weather helps, but it would of still been beautiful even it was raining.
Great spot for walking. Just be careful that you do not get cut off by a rising tide.
Loads of space and easy to pay using the MIPermit app so long as you can get a signal. I paid for parking ok when up on the cliff top nearest the town, but down on the beach or even lower down the carpark there is no signal if you want to extend it. Prices are standard for the area, and it's ultra convenient for the beach. We love the beach at old Hunstanton, and use this carpark whenever we visit. It's very big and easy to navigate. Paths lead down to the main public entrance ramp, which ensures that the dunes and cliffs are not eroded by people unnecessarily.nnJust watch out when manoeuvring off the slightly raised spaces and back onto the tracks. There is a height change which could catch out a low car. The tracks do erode a little each year. But it's far nicer to park on the Natural chalk, rather than asphalting over the whole site.
Worth a visit here. Nice cliffs
Whilst the car park is convenient for the beach when relatively empty and has loads of space it is expensive although not more than other beach car parks on the coast and still expects you to pay via coins who has £9 in coins these days! or an app you can't download if you're at the bottom end of the car park and it's not obvious there is another pay point at the top. As it fills up you get further from the beach to the point where parking on local streets doesn't take you that much further from the beach. It would be massively improved by having a card reader and we parked at other smaller car parks on the coast that had these so it's evidently not impossible.
